The Opportunity
We are looking for a Solutions Consultant to be the technical backbone of our EU/US sales motion. Partnering closely with Account Executives, you will own the technical narrative during the sales cycle - running demos, leading PoCs, handling RFPs, and helping prospects see exactly how Appknox solves their mobile security challenges.
This role is ideal for someone with 1-2 years of experience in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or security consulting who is technically strong and equally comfortable in front of prospects.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead tailored product demonstrations and Proof-of-Concept (PoC) engagements with clear success criteria
- Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires with technical accuracy and speed
- Act as the technical and solution providing authority for prospects - mapping Appknox capabilities to their SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, and compliance requirements (GDPR, PCI-DSS, OWASP Mobile Top 10, DORA)
- Support AEs on account strategy, discovery preparation, and competitive positioning
- Maintain pre-sales activity and PoC status in HubSpot with rigorous hygiene
- Build and maintain reusable pre-sales assets: demo scripts, PoC playbooks, objection-handling guides, and RFP answer banks
- Enable new and existing AEs with product knowledge and periodic feature releases.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience & Background
- 1-2 years in a pre-sales, Technical support (Tier 2 or 3) solutions engineering, technical onboarding, or security consulting role at a B2B SaaS or cybersecurity company
- Prior experience supporting EU or US enterprise sales cycles is an advantage
Technical Skills
- Working knowledge of mobile platforms (Android/iOS) and common mobile security risks (OWASP Mobile Top 10, MASVS)
- Comfortable with API documentation, SDK integration patterns, and CI/CD concepts – credible in front of developers and AppSec engineers without needing to write production code
- Familiarity with security testing tools (e.g. Burp Suite, MobSF, Checkmarx, or equivalent) is a plus
Pre-Sales & Communication
- Ability to run structured, value-driven demos and manage multi-stakeholder evaluations
- Strong written English for RFP responses and technical proposals
- Can translate complex security topics into clear business risk for CISOs, procurement leads, and VP Engineering alike
- Comfortable working EU/US-aligned hours in a hybrid setup
