Main tasks

• Test preparation (test design, creation of test specifications and test cases for regression tests and tests of new and further developments)
• Sprint-accompanying testing in the Scrum team
• Test evaluation / documentation of the test results
• Further development of existing test automation processes
• Close cooperation with the SOL business unit and the test departments at other locations

 

Qualification profile

• Completed degree or comparable training with an IT background
• Affinity and many years of experience in systematic testing of software products
• Excellent ability to work in a team and an independent, structured way of working
• Practical knowledge of the application of test methods and quality management standards as well as test automation knowledge are advantageous
• Fluent in English

Responsibilities:
- Direct interface with onshore/offshore stake holders to understand requirement
- Deep knowledge of test methodologies, writing test plans, formualte test cases, test coverage, defect remediation, reporting using JIRA.
- Defects management, RCA with the development team, debugging issues with developers.
- To perform manual and automation testing including developing/updating libraries, maintaining, executing scripts for web, mobile and api
- Get involved in functional API testing using Postman or RestClient.
- Able to do manual security testing to identify all possible weakness of the application as well as well aware of the tools available in the market

Essential Skills
- Extensive knowledge of JIRA, agile methodlogies.
- Knowledge of any programming language Java, Javascript, Python, Ruby
- Knowledge Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, jmeter(Good to have)
- Knowledge of  test framework and development patterns like POM
- Knowledge of Git, bitbucket
- Good Communication & Written Skills. (Must have)
- Knowledge of iOS and/ Android based Mobile App Testing. (good to have)
- Knowledge with any NodeJS based frameworks like Jest, Mocha (good to have)
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Graduate/post graduate in Computers

5+ years of experience in writing tests in python - Good communication skills with experience in dealing with multiple customer engagements.

We have an urgent requirement of an Automation Tester who has at least 2 years of experience in Automation Testing.

Job Requirements:

1. Maintaining a suite of automated tests for Web and Mobile applications

Skills required

• Experience with Serenity BDD test framework, (Cucumber, Selenium, Rest Assured)
• Programming skills with either Java / JavaScript / Python or similar
• Unit testing frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit and/or N Unit
• Testing API’s with SoapUI / Postman or similar
• Performance Testing with J meter, Neo Load or similar
• Familiarity with Swagger or Open API Specifications.
• Familiarity with JSON objects, SQL queries, data structures, log file analysis
• Strong knowledge of Scripting Languages like Java, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, Groovy etc.
