Who are we looking for:

We are looking for a QA engineer experienced in writing test cases based on user stories, creating reports, testing the application from a design & usability perspective, and supporting both manual and automated testing throughout the lifecycle of the product. As a QA Engineer, you will ensure that quality issues and defects are appropriately identified, documented, tracked, and resolved in our defect tracking system.

Mandatory technical skills:

• Proven working experience (Min 3 years) in software quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience with both white box & black box testing and automated testing tools
• Technology hands-on Selenium, Javascript, and SQL Scripting is a must
• Experience with Restful API testing – Postman jetpack, RestAssured
• Experience with performance/load/stress testing
• Experience in all stages of application testing including UI, backend, functional, regression
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

Other

Strong independent contributor and an unquenchable desire to learn, attention to detail a can-do attitude

Job Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the testing, identifying issues and subsequent fixing in entire PDLC
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
• Quality review and signoff of new features
• Understand product architecture and functionality
• Create Test Case/Test script writing
• Should be ready to convert unvaried test cases into automated test scripts
• Create, maintain, and execute functional, regression, and exploratory tests
• Provide test case coverage and defect metrics to substantiate release decisions
• Provide support and assistance to business and users on reported production issues
• Creates temporary "work-arounds" for immediate customer/ end users issues
• Communicate with PMs and engineers on reported issues
• Participate in product discussions & refine the acceptance criteria
• Communicate high-value use cases and customer feedback to the product team

The ideal candidate must have -

• At least 2 years of practical experience in defining, developing, maintaining and executing test cases
• Prior experience dealing with full product development lifecycles and multiple releases
• Experience of working with Web, Mobile, and API Testing
• Basic understanding of good programming practices, architecture and design patterns
• Knowledge of Performance & Security Testing
• Solid analytical & problem-solving skills and experience of working in Agile process management methodology
• Should be excellent at communication, be able to explain ideas clearly.
• Must be extremely proactive and self-starter.
• Good knowledge of test automation tools like PyTest, Mocha, Cypress or comparable is a big plus.

As a Software QA +  Support engineer , you will be responsible for the test planning as well as writing and executing functional and non-functional test cases for sprints and releases. You will be a part of an Agile development team and would have full access to the complete development life cycle including opportunity to shape requirements. You will also be responsible to work with customers to help debug issues. We are looking for a relevant experience of about 5 years.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools. Ability to translate use cases and/or technical specifications into test cases.
• Experience working directly with customers and/or clients to debug issues or provide resolutions
• Ensures creation of test data to support test case execution and supports creation and maintenance of libraries of reusable test data sets.
• Reviews requirements specifications for testability and verifying/ensuring traceability of testing to requirements and vice versa
• Possess a detailed understanding of the requirements elicitation, analysis, and specification process including user requirement specifications and functional specifications for larger, complex applications.
• Experience working with project management tools like Azure DevOps or JIRA is preferred.
• Good Verbal and Written communication skills to communicate quality cross-functionally and with customers in formal and informal settings.

Position Description

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

• Contributes to overall business results by making recommendations that significantly improve operational efficiency and effectiveness of Travel Industry
• Facilitate the analysis, design and programming of viable solutions to high complexity business problems according to user specifications

Strategic and Development Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with Executive, Marketing, Sales and Operations teams in gathering product requirements, reporting results and managing expectations.
• Willingness to work flexible and/or extended hours as necessary and travel internationally on occasion.
• Specifically participate in the following: market research, requirements gathering and documentation, architecture design, resource allocation, issue delegation, release management, project timelines, source code protection, testing/QA (use cases) and outsourcing.

• Ability to provide accurate and timely project estimates.

Education

• Bachelor of Science in CS, MIS, or equivalent.

• Developing import functionality from Excel to ERP on premise
• Preparing test scripts for testing the configured scenarios
• Testing may also include Unit testing, Performance Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Regression Testing
• Testing the end to product scenarios in line with product standards and resolving conflicts with the help of technical team

Desired Candidate Profile

• At least five years' experience in ERP implementation, configuration, system design or related business experience
• Good command on SSRS reporting and Technical
• Excellent online presentation skills using Teams. Able to implement both Discrete and Process Manufacturing
• Deep knowledge in AP, AR, GL, Inventory, Warehouse management and FA
• Knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 ,R3
• Certification and/or experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, AX 2012 R2, R3 or AX 7/D365FO are a plus
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word
