Supply Chain Ops Lead

Starbond is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee the end-to-end operations of our eCommerce supply chain. This remote position requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in supply chain management, particularly within the eCommerce sector, who is eager to contribute to our fast-growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Supply Chain Management: Oversee end-to-end eCommerce supply chain operations, ensuring smooth procurement to customer delivery.
• Outsourced Manufacturing: Manage and coordinate outsourced manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment with company standards, quality, and timelines.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams (Purchasing, Marketing and Sales) and external partners (suppliers, freight forwarders) for resource optimization and profitability.
• Performance Measurement: Identify reporting needs and deliver concise, accurate reports. Lead the team in implementing best practices and measuring performance using KPIs.
• Data Reporting: Prepare clear, informative business reports for colleagues and management.
• Warehouse & Logistics Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert, aiding in KPI compliance across warehouse functions.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive process enhancements, accuracy improvements, and supply chain efficiency through the development, maintenance and upkeep of SOPs.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure products meet customer expectations upon leaving the warehouse.
• Technology Oversight: Implement and Manage eCommerce supply chain (MRP, ERP, WMS, KATANA and EDI) tech and fulfilment network.
• Cost-Efficient Distribution: Optimize distribution and freight practices.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and optimize inventory levels.
• Cost Studies: Lead cost reduction studies and seek ongoing improvement opportunities.
• Professional Growth: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications (Mandatory)

• eCommerce Supply Chain Experience: 4+ years of experience.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business or Transportation & Logistics.
• Warehouse Knowledge: Strong understanding of warehouse processes.
• Certification: Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or higher.
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
• Project Leadership: Demonstrated project leadership and issue resolution.
• Communication Skills: Strong written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
• Problem-Solving: Quick and sound judgment in issue resolution.

Position: Logistics Specialist

Experience: 8 - 12 years in logistics and warehouse

Work location: Chennai

• You will be responsible for the inventory management, warehousing and logistics activities associated with the distribution.
• Coordinate end to end Warehouse Operations Inbound, Outbound ,Transportation and 3PL operations
  Drive efficient processes to enhance warehouse operations
• Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system
• Experience with SAP order to cash process.(MM&SD Module) Excellent spreadsheet modeling skills required.

• Inventory Specialist (Req 2) 

Must have skills: 

Should have experience as End user in SCM 

Expertise in Supply Chain Management (SCM) Oracle preferred  

Experience in Inventory Management 

• You will coordinate and route the flow of material between contract manufacturers and distribution centers in North America, Europe, and Asia.  
• You will expedite parts to remedy any shortage problems.  
• Perform purchase order receipts, create travelers, and maintain records of material flow.  
• Updating logs, databases, maintaining files, project reports, specifications, product information, and documentation.  
• Preparing processes and status reports, assigning and monitoring documents/databases, and reviewing documents/databases for accuracy and completeness.  

• Responsible for incoming and outgoing material flows primarily supporting global distribution activities.  
• Monitor the flow of material and parts between various suppliers and internal departments to meet tight schedules.

We are seeking a Production, Planning & Inventory control Associate (PPIC)  who is responsible for accurate record keeping of a live inventory 

• Manage the planning and flow of material and FGs (finished Goods) to maximize on-time deliver to customers and optimizes inventory/working capital performance.
• You will identify and resolve resource conflicts, material availability and manufacturing issues.
• You will maintain ERP system integrity to ensure the optimization of the planning, execution, and control of production schedules.
• Track shipments, transfers, PO’s, inventory levels and physical inventory counts for multiple locations. Communicating with location managers to maintain required inventory levels between the various locations.
• Manages a team of buyers, planners, inventory control. Suggest and lead continuous improvement for the department and others.
• Measures and manages the performance of materials indirect and direct support teams.
• Identify, share and implement best in class supply chain practices.
• Develops standard work, policies and procedures in collaboration with other facilities Manager, Production Control Logistics and professional supply chain resources.
• Suggest and lead continuous improvement for the department and others.
• Manage Supplier held inventory programs to improve delivery, reduce lead-times and avoid risk
• Collaborate with other departments to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other facilities and regions to optimize inventory.\
• Stock Management & Update Stock Sheet in MS Excel.
• Achieving the Production Target & resolved client issue by close interaction with Production, Planning, Purchase & Sales Department.
• Implementation of 5’S, Continuous improvement related to Cost, Quality, safety & related Processes to increase productivity.
• Coordinating with Vendors and Clients

Skills & Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related discipline required.
• MBA or related advanced degree preferred.
• Entrepreneurial, optimistic and can work independently with minimal supervision.
• Exemplary leadership, motivation
• Experience with ERP or comparable production software.
• Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience within the manufacturing, distribution, and/or service industry.
