Operations Manager

·         Project Delivery:

Work independently in client facing situations as well as part of larger project teams in the design, development and implementation of new and improved business processes and enabling technology in Logistics, Supply Chain and IT transformation related projects.

Support business assessment and roadmaps for our client, advise clients on S/4HANA Supply Chain functionality & new features to overcome current challenges and/or optimize key business processes.

Lead/support implementation engagements using a deep knowledge of S/4HANA Supply Chain capabilities.

Demonstrate understanding of processes and best practices to help an organization improve outcomes.

Manage client stakeholders across the board and  project team

CXO level stakeholder management (Client)

Monitor project financials and deliver against target profitability

·         Networking and Business Development

Create and manage good independent relationships with clients and internal stakeholders

Support project and practice leadership in expanding opportunities with existing clients through proactive identification of pain points and innovative solutioning

Support practice leadership on solutioning for new business opportunities

Support  pursuits related to S/4HANA Supply Chain opportunities by assisting Request for Proposals and/or Request for Information, supporting S/4HANA sales cycles

·         Developing Thought Leadership and Assets

Support/develop cutting edge points of view/articles that drives  equity in the market

Design and build assets that distinguish  capabilities to drive additional business

·         Knowledge Management

Strong contribution to knowledge sharing efforts, reviews and continually improves processes so that the team and firm capture and leverage knowledge

·         People Management

Support internal capability development through robust training sessions (design curriculum/deliver sessions) for the practice.

Develop and expand S/4HANA Supply Chain professional skills through continual learning and “hands on” experience

Enable, mentor and coach colleagues in S/4HANA Supply Chain capabilities and best practices 

Qualification-

MBA Preferred or Full time Graduate

Experience-

1- 15 years of relevant post qualification experience

Key Competencies and skills

·         Domain knowledge in Supply Chain Management in the areas of Planning, Manufacturing & warehousing processes is a must

·         Hands on experience on Available to Promise, Global ATP, Demand Driven MRP and PPDS

·         Experience with inter- and intra-company processes: Make-To-Order and Engineer-To-Order

Understanding and experience of SCM related customizing and developments

• Tracking, managing and replenishing inventory at all the warehouses and all products of all brands of the company.
• Keeping an eye on the sales targets and making sure that inventory projections are made on a biweekly basis and tallied with the inventory in pipeline to ensure products are never out of stock.
• Managing and optimizing logistics cost constantly by optimizing daily processes and analyzing to find all inefficiencies in the processes currently in use.
• Establishing and enforcing departmental policies in sync with the other teams and their policies to ensure smooth synergy within the organization.
• Overseeing expenses related to packaging and other secondary expenses made by all warehouses and optimizing for any inefficiencies
• Reviewing team performance of all warehouses and solve for any gaps.

• 1 to 4 years of experience in operations/ logistics.
• Preferably in Ecomm , retail, FMCG Companies
• Bachelor's degree
• Excellent understanding and background working in supply chain and warehouse management 

• Ensuring strategic product-mix plan deliver Profitability
• Generating raw material requirements in line with production forecast and monitor Working capital
• Identifying and implementing opportunities for optimizing cost, time and quality for the supply & material

1. Developing production plans in coordination with Demand Planner driven S&OP process.
2. Participating in capacity planning and analysis, highlighting constraints & excess capacity, Product mix-profitability matrix analysis enhancing business growth
3. Working closely with Procurement on forward buying, production-exigency controls, etc., in case of shortage of materials/ products Long term visibility for high lead time/ critical raw materials

1. Monitoring and continuously striving to improve OTIF levels
2. Providing support for ongoing and new automations/ process improvements planned in the supply chain processes. Monitoring accuracy of production plans and variance
3. Providing feedback to all concerned teams to ensure greater efficiency of the planning process and minimizing deviation from plans.

1. Managing inventory targets (including safety stock levels) for raw materials in close coordination with Demand Planner and Procurement organization
2. Developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
3. Identifying & leading implementation of optimization opportunities to manage the cost of RM inventory lying at factory, depots, etc

1. Maximizing deliveries of finished goods from various units as per given customer orders and deadlines in coordination with Logistics team

1. Ensuring the Master data correctness in ERP
2. Providing appropriate training to users to ensure timely MRP runs with proper results

1. Planning & monitoring performance of subordinates & team & coaching them on how to improve the same in order to meet departmental goals
2. Identifying and planning for requisite training & development requirements for subordinates & team to help bridge skill gaps

• Qualifications - B.Tech /B.E.;MBA / PGDM
• At least 5+ years experience working in a plant
• Have experience as Supply Chain Manager
• Team handling experience
• Should be well versed with Supply Planning, Procurement, Production and Logistics functions
• Excellent handling of respective functional plans and adherance monitoring

• Supervising day-to-day operations in the Supply Chain Department.
• Scaling-up and managing procurement, virtual warehouse and distribution processes
• Following procurement and supply chain processes as per guidelines
• Strategizing and implementing efficient processes to ensure 100% order fulfilment on time.
• Ensuring promptness, accuracy in procurements and maintaining records of goods ordered, received and returned.
• Evaluating potential vendors, negotiating and getting them registered as per set process. Maintaining good relationships with vendors / suppliers
• Regularly doing market research ensuring generic medicines range is enhanced from time to time. Maintaining accurate medicine master data base.
• Maintaining updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices.
• Liaising with new vendors and negotiate for the best deals whenever required
• Ensuring that the products and supplies are of high quality and as per set standards.
• Monitoring stock levels and place orders as needed
• Working with internal team members ensuring speed and accuracy and performing other duties.
• Staying informed on the latest industry techniques and methods.
• Preparing training material and conducting regular training to all team members of Supply Chain Management.
