Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or a related field is preferred.

• Must have at least 5 to 7 years of experience in application development (Java,Spring Framework), Deployment(Apache Tomcat & Nginx)

• Sound knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Patterns and Concepts.

• Knowledge & hands-on experience of Java, Spring Framework, Spring Security, JSP, Apache Tomcat, Nginx is a must.

• Must have experience with Bootstrap CSS, jQuery etc.

• Basic Understanding of PostgreSQL, MVC (Model-View-Controller) Pattern, JDBC (Java Database Connectivity), and RESTful web services.

• Relevant Knowledge of Java GUI frameworks according to project requirements.

• Experience in handling external and embedded databases.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop new modules, patches & Updates/upgrades for an existing application (developed in-house by the client)

• Bug fixing, and updating of software.

• Analyze user requirements to define business objectives.

• Maintain Java-based applications that can be high-volume and low-latency.

• Identify and resolve any technical issues arising.

• Write well-designed, testable code.

• Conducting software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging.

• Support continuous improvement, investigating alternatives and technologies, and presenting for architectural review.

Responsibilities:

•   Collaborate with the development team to design and implement new features for our iOS applications using Swift.
•   Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code under the guidance of senior developers.
•   Assist in translating UI/UX designs into high-quality code.
•   Participate in debugging and troubleshooting to identify and fix bugs.
•   Write unit and UI tests to ensure code quality and robustness.
•   Contribute to code reviews to learn from and share knowledge with the team.
•   Stay up-to-date with the latest iOS development trends, tools, and best practices.
•   Work with version control systems like Git.
•   Communicate effectively with team members regarding progress, challenges, and ideas.

Required Qualifications:

•   Basic understanding of Swift programming language concepts.
•   Familiarity with the iOS SDK (UIKit and/or SwiftUI).
•   Experience with Xcode IDE.
•   Fundamental understanding of mobile development concepts (e.g., view life cycles, memory management, networking).
•   Basic knowledge of version control using Git.
•   Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•   Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
•   A strong desire to learn, grow, and take on new challenges in iOS development.
•   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, OR equivalent practical experience demonstrated through projects or portfolio.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves):

•   Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
•   Understanding of common architectural patterns (e.g., MVC, MVVM, VIPER).
•   Experience with dependency managers (e.g., CocoaPods, Swift Package Manager).
•   Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
•   Personal projects or contributions to open-source projects (please provide links if available, e.g., GitHub profile).
•   Basic understanding of automated testing frameworks (e.g., XCTest).

• Should have experience of creating responses to customer RFP and RFI proposals.

• Must have ability to make and effectively communicate decisions. The candidate should know how to disagree, how to address opposition/rejection, how to navigate the conflicts in multi stakeholder requirement and how to build consensus.

• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to work with a global team.

• Interacting with other Center of Competence (CoE) architects and teams, and providing solutions from a software perspective

• Analyzing applications, both pre-production and post-production

• Participating in process studies or pre-sales process of responding to RFI, RFPs and proposals

• Leading business and technical analysis sessions to support new development efforts to meet current and projected business needs

• Quickly understanding the business issues and data challenges of client’s organization and industry

• Providing expertise on the systems capabilities/limitations as it relates to business goals

• Preparing impact and opportunity assessments regarding the cost/benefit of proposed projects

• Driving the implementation of technology and process solutions from concept to completion

• Providing analysis and support for the project management, application development, and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle

• Good understanding of clients’ accounts, client database and business projects
