About the Role

Work directly with the founders to build and scale Vaayu's online business (Pretline Brand). Own the complete D2C growth engine—from customer acquisition and website conversion to retention and profitable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Own Meta & Google Ads strategy, execution, and optimization.
• Drive profitable customer acquisition and scale online revenue.
• Improve website performance by working closely with the Shopify team on landing pages, product pages, and conversion optimization (CRO).
• Build customer retention and repeat purchase strategies through CRM and remarketing.
• Monitor and improve key business metrics including ROAS, CAC, MER, AOV, CVR, LTV, Repeat Purchase Rate, and Contribution Margin.
• Collaborate with creative, content, and influencer teams to improve campaign performance and brand growth.
• Identify growth opportunities through data analysis, testing, and experimentation.

What We're Looking For

• 5–8 years of hands-on core D2C performance marketing experience.
• Proven experience growing a fashion, lifestyle, beauty, or premium consumer D2C brand.
• Strong expertise in Meta Ads, Google Ads, Shopify, conversion optimization, and retention marketing.
• Deep understanding of the complete D2C growth funnel—from acquisition to repeat purchase.
• High ownership, commercial mindset, and ability to execute in a fast-paced founder-led environment.

• Mandatory (Backend Skillset) – Must have 3+ years of hands-on experience in backend development using Java / Node.js / Go / Python (any 1).
• Mandatory (Frontend Skillset) – Must have experience or familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React / Angular / Vue.
• Mandatory (Mentoring Skillset) – Must have at least 1+ year of experience leading or mentoring a team of software engineers.
• Mandatory (Tech Skills) – Must have a solid understanding of microservices architecture, APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure).
• Mandatory (DevOps Skillset) – Must have hands-on experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Mandatory (Company) – Top-tier/renowned product-based company (preferred Entreprise B2B SaaS)
• Mandatory (Education) – Undergraduation from Tier-1 Engineering College (IIT, BITS, IIIT, NSUT, DTU, etc.)

• Assist in designing intuitive user interfaces for web and mobile applications.

Job Description

As a Go developer, you will be responsible to manage the exchange of data between users and servers. You will be responsible for writing server-side logic, database definitions and ensuring high performance to requests from our front end.

Core Requirements:

• Mentoring Team of Juniors, Code Reviews, and System Design Understanding
• Design and develop APIs using NodeJs, TypeScript, and deployment using the CICD pipeline.

• Expertise with MySQL including the design of schemas and development for these databases

• Actively drive discussions to improve product across engineering teams, wherever there are inter dependencies across products
• Develop functionalities in full stack
• API Definitions and end-to-end service design and implementations
• Design applications in true service oriented architecture
• Develop object-oriented models and design data structure for new software projects taking systems aspects into account
• Participate and contribute in discussions and decisions for creating and improving architecture across applications.
• Make correct design choices in the context of problem for datastore, caching, search, scaling etc.
• Write good quality, modular, reusable, performant, well documented, unit-tested code,
• Identify the areas and approach to refactor and simplify the modules; refactor code to improve code quality and bring molecularity and simplicity.
