About the Role  

We are looking for a Model Based Test (MBD) Engineer with strong experience in Motor Control Unit (MCU) software functional verification at subsystem level for automotive applications. The role involves model-based testing, verification, and validation of motor control software using MATLAB/Simulink environments and MathWorks toolchains.The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in MIL/SIL testing, test case development, verification planning, issue analysis, and subsystem-level validation of motor control software for induction motor and PMSM applications.

  Key Responsibilities  

• Perform subsystem-level functional verification and validation of MCU software
• Work on Motor Control FOC software architecture for Induction Motors, PMSM motors
• Create and execute Design Verification Plans (DVP)
• Perform software unit testing using MIL (Model-in-the-Loop), SIL (Software-in-the-Loop)
• Develop and execute test cases using MATLAB, Simulink, and Simulink Test Harness
• Identify and report issues, support debugging and resolution activities
• Generate validation and final test reports
• Support MCU software calibration activities at vehicle level
• Work with microcontrollers, preferably Infineon TriCore

Required Skills  

• Strong knowledge of MATLAB, Simulink, Simulink Test Harness, MathWorks toolchain
• Experience in MIL/SIL testing and model-based verification
• Understanding of Motor Control FOC architecture and automotive embedded systems
• Good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills

• Develop data flow and integration models across ITSM platforms (ServiceNow), IAM systems, monitoring tools, and business applications.
• Document APIs, data exchange patterns, and system dependencies.
• Contribute to data governance initiatives by modeling data lineage and ownership.
• Standards & Governance
• Apply ArchiMate 3.x standards consistently across all models.
• Follow modeling conventions, quality guidelines, and participate in model reviews.
• Collaborate in managing BiZZdesign repository workflows.
• Stakeholder Collaboration & Analysis
• Conduct workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements and validate models.
• Produce impact and gap analysis views to support transformation planning.
• Prepare executive-level visualizations and presentations for leadership.
• Work closely with ITIL practice leads to ensure workflows are accurately represented.

Job Description:

Ticket Management

• Log all IT service requests/incidents raised by users through phone, email, or in-person.
• Assign tickets to the relevant IT engineer based on the nature of the issue and engineer availability.
• Ensure timely acknowledgment of tickets logged in the Helpdesk system (ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus or equivalent).
• Follow up with the concerned engineer for updates and resolution timelines.
• Provide regular status updates to end-users and ensure ticket closure confirmation.

2       Escalation Handling

• Proactively escalate delayed or unresolved tickets to the appropriate senior IT team members or as per escalation matrix.
• Track the ticket lifecycle to ensure SLA adherence.

3       Asset Management

• Maintain and update the IT Asset Register regularly.
• Coordinate with the team for asset issuance, movement, and return (laptops, desktops, printers, accessories, etc.).
• Ensure tagging and documentation of all IT assets in coordination with the IT Infrastructure Team.

4       Reporting & Documentation

o Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on ticket statistics, open issues, SLA breaches, etc.

o Maintain proper documentation of asset movements, handover forms, incident reports, etc.

5       Communication & Coordination

o Act as a central communication point for all IT-related queries and complaints.

o Communicate with vendors (if required) for updates on external support tickets.

o Maintain professional and courteous behaviors while interacting with users at all levels.

Desired Candidate Profile For Embedded Developer Role

1. Proficient in C language
2. Proficient in Linux application development, TCP/IP protocol, multi-threaded programming, basic encryption algorithm,
3. familiar with Linux system commonly used API and commands, proficient in basic debugging means and methods.
4. Proficient in STM32 and other SCM development, skilled in using Keil and other integrated development environment,
5. proficient in serial port communication programming, Bluetooth, GPIO, SPI, EEPROM and other development, proficient in basic debugging means and methods.
6. Have basic hardware skills and knowledge, can draw PCB and read circuit diagrams, can use an oscilloscope and other tools for debugging.
7. Familiar with embedded system, free-RTOS, RT-Thread, etc.
8. Fluency in both spoken and written English.
