Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
• Minimum of 6+ years experience in the Information Technology field
• Minimum of 3+ years experience in management
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment
• Exceptional communication and reporting skills
• Solid working knowledge in all required computer infrastructure and data center environments.
• Outstanding leadership skills and ability to delegate responsibilities effectively

The Director plays a critical role in guiding strategic technology investments for infrastructure, cloud and information security technologies and operates as part of a dynamic team under the Chief Technology Officer. The Director has responsibility for strategic technology planning and oversees team in Infrastructure Services and Information Security, while also playing an enterprise-wide leadership role.

What you’ll do: 

• Manage the vision, design and deployment of cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, and network systems for cloud hosting; 
• Provide cloud hosting and data service management strategy, process, and procedures across the organization; 
• Manage the configuration and operation of Network and Edge devices and technology  
• Lead a consistent, measurable process to operationalize and scale cloud based strategic initiatives and execution; 
• Develop and mentor a high performing team of global professionals; 
• Provide strong leadership, guidance, and direction related to cloud hosting service delivery; 
• Work closely with Data Engineering, Data Factory Operations and technology vendors to ensure SLAs are met and quality meets or exceed expectations;

About you: 

• Bachelor's degree in technology, business or a related field; 
• Minimum of 10 years of experience operating and managing Infrastructure with at least 4 years of experience in cloud computing (MS Azure) 
• Strong proficiency in Server, Storage, Networking, Edge, End User technologies 

• Proven track record of success in service delivery leadership and customer satisfaction 
• Strong understanding of MS Azure and the cloud computing market 
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills 
• Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions

-Troubleshoot and resolve all problems encountered with hardware and software.

-Laptop, MAC pcs, Troubleshoot and resolve firewall, desktop, hardware, connection, printer, and software issues.

-Update network applications as required. Maintain daily tape backup and off-site tape storage

Administration of all networks, servers, and storage infrastructure to Build, test, implement, operate, patch, monitor, backup, update, and secure

-Hardware / Software configuration of Servers, Switches, Routers, Firewalls, and storage system

Maximize corporate network services uptime by maintaining the corporate network, server, and storage infrastructure

-Maintain and manage VPNs and routers and Troubleshoot Management of personal queries

Provide Mobile device support and Maintain all the devices and regular check of the personal devices of the Management and Employees.

Required Technical skills and Experience

• Over 10+ years of experience as IT Infrastructure Architect
• Bachelor / Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• Must have experience in Infrastructure architecting on AWS/ Azure/ Google cloud.
• Should have a very good understanding of Cloud Native services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) platforms for application deployment and scalability in a cost effective manner, addresses scalability, availability, service continuity (DR), performance and security requirements. auto-scaling and self-healing.
• Has hands on experience with cloud orchestration using Kubernetes or apache Mesos on marathon would be an advantage
• Evangelizing microservices-based architectures using containerized applications; help to drive strategy and implementation of cloud native infrastructure
