iOS Developer

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Flutter Developer with intermediate-level expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in building cross-platform mobile applications and be proficient in API integration and state management. You will work on exciting projects, creating high-quality, responsive, and scalable mobile applications using Flutter.

Responsibilities:

• Mobile App Development:
• Build and maintain cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android using Flutter.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code that adheres to Flutter best practices.
• API Integration:
• Integrate RESTful APIs seamlessly into Flutter applications.
• Handle asynchronous operations, data fetching, and error handling efficiently.
• Use tools like Postman or Swagger to test APIs before integration.
• State Management:
• Implement and manage application state using state management libraries like Provider, Riverpod, Bloc, or similar.
• Optimize app performance by efficiently managing state transitions and updates.
• UI/UX Development:
• Create visually appealing and responsive user interfaces based on designs provided (e.g., Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD).
• Ensure consistent branding, theming, and animations for a smooth user experience.
• Debugging and Testing:
• Debug and troubleshoot issues across different devices and platforms.
• Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure app reliability.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with backend developers, UI/UX designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality products.
• Participate in code reviews and team discussions to improve development processes.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Flutter Expertise:
• Experience in building and deploying mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.
• Knowledge of Flutter widgets, layouts, navigation, and animations.
• API Integration:
• Hands-on experience in integrating RESTful APIs and managing API responses (JSON).
• Knowledge of HTTP libraries like http or Dio.
• State Management:
• Experience with state management solutions such as Provider, Riverpod, Bloc, or GetX.
• UI/UX Skills:
• Ability to build pixel-perfect designs based on UI/UX wireframes.
• Experience in theming, dark mode, and responsive layouts.
• Proficient in Version Control:
• Familiarity with Git for version control and collaborative development.
• Good Understanding of the Mobile Development Lifecycle:
• Knowledge of deploying apps to Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Knowledge of Firebase (Firestore, Authentication, Cloud Messaging).
• Experience with local storage solutions like SharedPreferences or Hive.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for Flutter apps.
• Basic understanding of backend technologies to collaborate better with backend teams.

Experience:

• 1-3 years of experience in Flutter development or a related role.

● Experience developing macOS, iOS applications using Swift

● Experience releasing successful iOS applications on Apple App Store and Google Play.

● Excellent knowledge of the iOS ecosystem, including third-party libraries.

● Hands-on experience with Swift in a professional environment.

● Excellent understanding of Swift, Android UI design patterns and Material UI guidelines.

● Experience integrating Mobile Apps with back end Web Services (REST)

● Knowledge of the functional and asynchronous concepts in Swift language and asynchronous computing concepts.

● Knowledge of alternative Mobile App frameworks, tools and technologies such as Jenkins Continuous Integration Server, Git, and Maven.

● Proficiency in Java, Objective-C desirable but not required.

Responsibilities:

● Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)

● Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code

● Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions

● Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions

● Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance

● Design interfaces to improve user experience

● Liaise with the Product development team to plan new features

● Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards

● Research and suggest new mobile products, applications and protocols

● Stay up-to-date with new technology trends

Requirements and skills:

● Proven work experience as a Mobile developer

● Demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the App Store or the Android market

● In-depth knowledge of at least one programming language like Flutter Java

● Experience with third-party libraries and APIs

● Familiarity with OOP design principles

● Excellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude

● Ability to perform in a team environment

● BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field

Key Skills

• Must have experience building apps using fluter, good knowledge on dart. Preferably built and deployed couple of apps both on iOS and Android
• Good knowledge in integrating or developing app functions using firebase
• Must have ported at least 2 applications on iOS and Android platforms. Exposure to the entire build piepline is a must.
• Has good knowledge on how native android and iOS apps work. Must have experience building iOS native apps
• Has an understanding on Computer vision and basic deep learning concepts. Any prototypes of proof of concepts are a big plus.

• UI/UX - understand design guidlines and implement them in the project

• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
• The knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {such as Git, Mercurial or SVN}
• Familiarity with continuous integration
