Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Executive with hands-on experience in export documentation and logistics operations, particularly in the apparel industry. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth coordination of shipment processes in compliance with Indian customs regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage export documentation as per Indian customs requirements for apparel shipments
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA, and internal teams for timely shipment execution
• Ensure compliance with export regulations and documentation accuracy
• Maintain shipment records and update relevant systems
• Track shipments and resolve any logistics-related issues

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of export documentation and shipping procedures
• Familiarity with Indian customs regulations for export
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer applications
• Good communication skills in English and Hindi
• Ability to coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Prior experience in shipping/logistics within the apparel industry
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail 

Handle end‑to‑end export and import operations, including documentation, customs compliance, freight booking, shipment coordination and banking procedures, ensuring timely & accurate movement of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all export documentation (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, COA/COO, Shipping Bill, etc.) and bank submissions.
• Handle import documentation, including LC applications, E‑Way bills, indemnity bonds, and customs clearance coordination.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA, shipping lines, transporters, factory staff, CFS/ICD operators.
• Track shipments, follow up on duty drawback/realization certificates, ensure compliance with trade regulations and renewal of IEC, RCMC, LUT/UIN as needed.
• Maintain accurate export/import records (physical & digital), track transaction status, and liaise with banks & clients for settlements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (Logistics/International Trade/Related) or Diploma in Export–Import Management.
• 5–6 years hands‑on export/import operations & documentation experience.
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations, documentation, DGFT / ICEGATE procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Office and digital transaction handling.
• Excellent communication, coordination, organizational, and time‑management skills.

Must have experience in Leather or garment export house.

· Export Documentation: Prepare and manage all pre-shipment and post-shipment export documents, including invoices, packing lists, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, and other required shipping documents.

· Coordination with Buyers & Shipping Lines: Communicate with buyers, freight forwarders, customs agents, and shipping lines to ensure timely shipment and smooth documentation processing.

· Customs & Compliance: Ensure compliance with export regulations, customs laws, and DGFT policies. Handle export incentives, duty drawbacks, and export obligations.

· Banking & Payment Processing: Handle LC (Letter of Credit), bank negotiations, remittances, and documentation required for payment processing.

· Coordination with Internal Teams: Work closely with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure the timely execution of export orders.

· Tracking & Reporting: Maintain shipment records, track shipments, and update management on export status.

· Client Communication: Handle buyer queries related to export documentation, shipping, and compliance.
