Sales Team Lead - Inside Sales

Craft My Plate is a fast-growing food tech startup redefining bulk food delivery and catering.We want to be Zomato for the group size of 10 -100.

Role Overview

We are looking for a strong frontline sales manager who can drive discipline, improve team productivity, and ensure every lead is followed up with speed and consistency.

This role will work closely with founders and sales leaders to execute strategy on the ground, drive daily team performance, and share practical feedback from the floor.

What You Will Do

• Manage day-to-day performance of the inside sales team.
• Ensure call discipline, follow-up rigor, and CRM hygiene.
• Track daily KPIs such as calls, follow-ups, conversions, and bookings.
• Run daily huddles, reviews, and coaching sessions.
• Monitor target achievement and improve underperformance quickly.
• Listen to calls and coach the team on objection handling and closing.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and building a strong execution culture.
• Work with founders and sales leaders to implement process improvements.

What We Are Looking For

• 3-6 years of experience in inside sales, telesales, or team handling roles.
• Prior experience as Team Lead, Floor Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar frontline people-management role.
• Strong preference for candidates from banking, finance, insurance, NBFC, telesales, or other target-heavy environments.
• Proven ability to manage teams and drive results through discipline and execution.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-accountability setup.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting.
• Strong communication skills; English, Hindi, and Telugu are a plus.

Role and Responsibilities:

● Work closely with the Founder/CEO and to define and build the platform

● Identify customer problems, latent needs & devise product roadmap

● Communicate and evangelise product output through low-fidelity designs

● Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to understand and eliminate obstacles to adoption and usage

● Work with Marketing to bring new features to life on various communication touch points

● Collaborate with engineers and designers to arrive at the detailed solutions to problems

● Execute o Own the roadmap for one or more parts of the product o Work with engineering and design to plan launch scope o Together with engineering and design, break-down scope into launch iterations o Deliver product features as per timelines

About the role

• This role is for an engineering manager/leader who has been leading teams and building products in larger scale startups, serving millions of monthly users. And is ready to upgrade their role from being an engineering manager to playing the engineering head of the company.

• Work closely with the founders and other leaders in the company to build a strong product and business- collaborating to create innovative products that will help define the future of healthcare.

• Build a strong engineering team and processes that enhance their performance and the overall organization.

• Pick the right architecture and tools for building a high performance, robust and scalable engineering platform , in a cost-effective way

Must have

• Has been an experienced Engineering Manager, or Senior Engineering Manager (8 to 10+ years of experience), across at least 1 scaled mobile-first B2C tech startup with paid transactions.

• Strong experience with mobile development: iOS, Android and/or React Native. Not just coding, but also leading mobile-based engineering teams.

• Strong understanding of devops and backend systems needed for scaling. 

• Has led engineering teams that launched products from idea to launch (0 to 1), and launch to scale (1 to 10)

• Has led teams of 10-15+ engineers.

• Comfort in an early stage environment.

• Strong communication and leadership ability- especially in the current remote environment.

• Has built teams from scratch, and been through the ups and downs of building startups and products.

• A passion for building impactful products.

• Strong developer, still codes, and can give the best in their team a run for their money! Is pretty much a full-stack engineer.

• 8-10+ years of experience

Nice to have

• Has founded their own company.

• Built products for healthcare, logistics and/or IoT devices

• Builds things outside of their full-time role- can be through writing, sharing, teaching, building, contributing, etc

You will be a part of the engineering team who focuses on user onboarding, licensing, marketplace stores, sales analytics dashboard and CRM’s integration pipeline.

Responsibilities:

• Driving end-to-end, design and implementation of features and UI.
• Design, develop, and maintain integrations with multiple file types, and existing software packages.
• Build software for a first-class onboarding experienceCollaborate with sales, marketing and engineering teams for requirements through to delivery.
• Design and implement marketplace and payment integrations.
• Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
• Develop and manage well-functioning web-based storage and applications
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software.
• Create security and data protection settings.
• License/admin level features access settings.

Full Stack Engineer ( React Native)

Experience: 1- 5 Years

Work Location: Hyderabad

Skillset: React Native, Node JS, React, MongoDB & AWS

• You will be responsible for architecting and building these applications, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure.

• Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required.

• Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.

• Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.

• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.

• Reach out to the open-source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes—React Native moves fast and often breaks things.

• Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
