Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester with strong experience in Web, API, and Database testing. The ideal candidate should be hands-on, proactive, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end manual testing for web applications
• Validate APIs using tools like Postman/Swagger
• Execute database testing using SQL queries
• Design, write, and execute test cases and test scenarios
• Identify, report, and track bugs using tools like JIRA
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders in Agile setup

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Web/UI testing
• Hands-on in API testing (REST, Postman)
• Good knowledge of Database testing (SQL)
• Experience in test case design & execution
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (JIRA, etc.)
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum
• Good to Have
• Basic knowledge of automation
• Experience in product-based environments

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Performing Manual Functionality Testing
2. Preparing Documentation like Test Plan, User manual etc.
3. Co-ordination with Business team for requirement understanding
4. Providing operational support as needed

Skills & Qualification:

1. BE or MCA
2. 2+ years of relevant work experience
3. Experience in Manual Testing of App, Web and APIs
4. Basic Knowledge of SQL
5. Knowledge of JavaScript and Automation Tool like Selinium, Jmeter etc. is preferred

• Exercises judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
• Perform various types of testing like sanity, functional, exploratory, integration, and system testing to ensure that the product delivered is of high quality.
• Support the Planning of test schedules in accordance with project scope/delivery dates and ensure that the timelines are adhered to without fail.
• Have very good knowledge of SDLC and STLC life cycles and working knowledge in agile.
• Work as part of cross-functional, passionate agile project teams to ensure quality is driven into the heart of the development process from requirements definition through to delivery.
• Contributing toward predictable delivery of quality releases.
• Be meticulous about documentation and maintaining a robust log of all test cases and test results.
• Very good at manual testing of web and windows based applications, web services testing, and integration testing of a complex system, iOS and Android applications.
• Defect Tracking and Reporting of bugs to developers so as to fix it and follow-ups.
• Lesson Learnt documents (based on testing inputs from the previous project)
• Suggestion Documents (to improve software quality)
• Leads test processes and delivers results to necessary stakeholders.
• Reviews changes or upgrades to existing tests, tools, and testing protocols.
• Good to have knowledge over Stockbroking applications, financial and capital market domain.

Job Description :

Design test plans, write test cases, review functional requirement documentation, and present test strategies for team review

• Conduct integration, regression, ad-hoc, and edge-case testing as part of release cycles
• Analyze complicated software system and design a strategy to test this system
• Understand and represent customer needs in product feedback discussions

This is a Test Analyst role for System, System Integration or End-to-End testing for projects that require changes to one or several systems.

• Participate in project Test requirement analysis
• Under minimal supervision, creates Test ware –scenarios, cases, data, automated test scripts, assist in estimates creation.

• Graduate with software engineering background
• Hands on Experience in Agile methodology.
• 2-4 years of experience in software testing.

We are seeking a skilled QA engineer who has experience in automation. Candidates from startup eco-system will be preferred.

Requirements:

• Have worked on JS based automation framework i.e. Protractor or Puppeteer.
• Have minimum of 2 years of strong experience in front-end automation.
• Understand how Single Page Apps work.
• Experience of automating API tests (our current automation is via C#).

• BE/B-Tech/BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Should have at least 4 years of relevant experience in QA.
• Proven working experience in software quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools is a plus
• Knowledge of SQL and scripting is big plus
