QA Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled QA Tester with a specialization in Vulnerability Testing and Penetration Testing to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security, reliability, and performance of our applications through comprehensive security assessments, Load Testing, penetration testing, and integration of security into CI/CD processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute test cases, scripts, and security test plans for web, mobile, and cloud applications.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks.
• Detect and analyze threats such as SQL Injection, XSS, CSRF, SSRF, IDOR, and others (OWASP Top 10).
• Integrate automated security testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to promote secure coding and architecture practices.
• Utilize tools like Burp Suite, 'Jmeter OWASP ZAP, Metasploit, Kali Linux, Nessus, and similar.
• Perform API security testing and validate authentication & authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, etc.).
• Document findings, assess impact and risk, and provide actionable recommendations for remediation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in QA with a focus on Security & Vulnerability Testing.
• Proficient in manual and automated testing of web and mobile apps.
• Strong experience with penetration testing tools and security frameworks.
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or JavaScript for test automation.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Deep understanding of HTTP, RESTful APIs, and authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT, SAML).
• Working knowledge of network security, IDS/IPS, and firewalls.
• Relevant certifications such as CEH, OSCP, CISSP, or Security+ are a strong plus.

This role focuses on ensuring high-quality delivery of SAP S/4HANA Cloud solutions through functional, regression, and automation testing, supporting CI/CD pipelines, and driving best-quality practices.

Key Skills Required

• Hands-on experience in software testing and QA methodologies
• Strong knowledge of automation tools: START, Process Test Framework, Qmate, Postman
• Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (Java, JavaScript, Python, or ABAP)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to learn automation for ABAP, FIORI, ODATA, CDS, and cloud-native applications
