Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Performance Test Engineer with a strong background in performance testing, automation, and analysis. The role involves ensuring product excellence through performance tuning, scalability validation, and end-to-end performance engineering.

Mandatory Skills : Performance Testing (JMeter/LoadRunner/RPT), Performance Analysis, Automation Testing, Load & Scalability Testing.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and execute performance test plans, scripts, and scenarios using JMeter, LoadRunner, or RPT.
• Conduct load, stress, scalability, and endurance testing for enterprise applications.
• Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide recommendations for optimization.
• Collaborate with development and architecture teams for detailed performance analysis and tuning.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot performance issues, and provide technical insights.
• Work on multi-user scenario scripting and cloud-based performance testing.

Requirements :

• 6+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in automation and 2 years in performance test analysis.
• Hands-on expertise in JMeter, LoadRunner, or RPT.
• Strong understanding of performance engineering concepts: response time, load, scalability, and tuning.
• Experience in analyzing system metrics and identifying performance bottlenecks.
• Exposure to C++ coding is an added advantage.
• Cloud-based application testing experience is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills.

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality technical training programs to students.

• Structured Query Language (SQL), e.g. SQL/PSM, Transact-SQL queries, writes SQL scripts in SQL Server 2000/2005/ 2012/ 2016, etc.
• 1+ years in Cloud Database services like AWS Dynamo DB / RDS
• Excellent Troubleshooting skills of existing functional implementation to derive leaner solutions and effective performance between applications software, systems software, and installed hardware.
• Database instance maintenance tasks such as DB Integrity Checks, Index Maintenance.
• High availability like clustering, log shipping, mirroring, replication.
• Backup and disaster recovery, Capacity planning and performance monitoring, Physical database structure, RDMS administration roles, instances, profiles, and security connectivity.
• Developing, implementing, maintaining, and following change control and testing processes for modifications to databases.
• Establishing backup and recovery or replication plans to minimize data loss and system downtime.
• Improving data quality through data analysis, monitoring, gap analyses, and working with the teams to provide solutions and resolve errors.
• Maintaining data integrity and security (manage roles and permissions of database users).
• Reviewing the security logs from the SQL Server Error Logs to determine if you had a breach or a violation in one of your policies.
• Ensures optimal database performance and availability.

·      Creation & maintenance of Databases in AWS.

Very good knowledge of at least one front end technology like AngularJs, ReactJs, ViewJs

Very good experience in AJAX, Javascript, Jquery, HTML, CSS3, bootstrap.

Good experience working for APIs and web-services

Should have good experience working for GIT or Bitbucket

Excellent Communication

Able to communicate with International client directly

- Strong logic and analytical skills.

- 5+ Years of experience with PHP, React.js, Javascript, HTML5, CSS3.

- Database Experience - Postgres or other relational databases.

- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, bitbucket.

- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.

- Experience with modern dev stack (Docker, Kubernetes) as well as cloud hosting solutions would be an added advantage but not compulsory.

- Use SOAP and REST to implement API integrations

- Flexible to Learn new technologies!!

Work Responsibilities

• What You’ll Do:
• Engineers will develop and improve features for products such as WebView pages called from within Mercari’s web version and native app, along with tools used by the Customer Support Team for answering user inquiries and providing transaction support.
• Senior engineers in the Frontend Team are expected to use their technical skills to lead the team and product development, train members through design and code reviews, and make contributions and improvements to the hiring process, including technical tests.

Minimum Requirements

• Shared understanding and belief in Mercari Group's mission and values
• At least 3 years of experience in development related to frontend fields such as web browsers, JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, Next.js, or Redux
• Experience with developing and operating large-scale products
• Ability to design and develop with performance and scalability in mind
• Ability to use HTML and CSS to implement solid user interfaces
• Knowledge of JavaScript and experience developing with UI libraries or frameworks such as React, Vue.js, and Angular
• Able to understand and explain web operation principles and browsers
• Understanding of version management and ability to participate in development via Git
• Effective communication skills, needed for product development with team members and with other teams

Preferred Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of standard web technologies and specialized knowledge in some areas, like TypeScript, React.js, Next.js, Redux
• Understanding of the characteristics of different libraries/frameworks and the ability to introduce them to projects where necessary
• Ability to design architecture based on the characteristics of the app
• Ability to consistently take initiative in implementing improvements to the app
• Project management and/or team leadership
• Cloud development experience (preferably GCP or AWS)
• Experience contributing to an open-source project
• Familiarity with CI systems and the release process
