What We’re Looking For

Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, Data Scientist, or similar role

Expertise in applying machine learning algorithms, deep learning, and data mining techniques in an enterprise environment

Strong proficiency in Python (or other languages) and familiarity with libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.

Experience working with natural language processing (NLP) or computer vision is highly desirable.

Understanding and experience with (MLOps), including model development, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.

Experience with cloud platforms (like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) and knowledge of deploying machine learning models at scale.

Familiarity with data architecture, data engineering, and data pipeline tools.

Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker, and orchestration systems like Kubernetes.

Knowledge of the insurance sector is beneficial but not required.

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Node.js backend developer to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Node.js development. Knowledge of frontend frameworks like React.js or Angular, AI-driven development, Python, and AWS is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop a NodeJS backend with a modular, scalable architecture.

• Build REST APIs and WebSocket services for real-time updates.

• Optimize PostgreSQL queries, ensure proper indexing, and manage database migrations.

• Implement role-based authentication & authorization (JWT, RBAC in NestJS).

• Set up event-driven patterns (Redis pub/sub, background jobs, async processing).

• Integrate with external api’s (JSON-RPC, XML-RPC, REST).

• Optimize API response times (caching, Redis, database tuning).

• Ensure secure API development (encryption, secure credentials storage).

• Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and contribute to architectural decisions.

Utilize native third party SDKs in NativeScript

• Experience in JavaScript and AngularJS/Angular 4 / Angular 2 & in  NativeScript
• Implement real-time cross-platform mobile and web applications. Develop User interfaces for Modern Rich Internet Applications with the latest Front End Technologies
• Perform product analysis and development tasks of increasingly complex nature which may require extensive research and analysis.
• Writing tested and documented JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Make design and technical decisions for AngularJS projects.
• Develop application code and unit test in the AngularJS, Rest Web Services and Java technologies for the Application Development Center. 
• Work closely with UX/UI designer to keep continuity across mobile / web / desktop

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Installation, configuration and upgrading of Oracle server software and related products.
• Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures.
• Take care of the Database design and implementation, including Patch Management and Version Control. Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges).
• Perform database/application tuning and performance monitoring.
• Setup and maintain documentation and standards.
• Plan growth and changes (capacity planning).
• Work as part of a team and provide 24x7 support when required.
• Perform general technical troubleshooting and give consultation to development teams.
• Interface with Oracle Corporation for technical support.
• Analyse potential impact of problem resolution and take corrective measures when needed.
• Root Cause Analysis.

Education, Skills and Experience required:

• Engineering or Technical Degrees (BE/ B.Tech/ ME/ M.Tech/ M.Sc / MCA)
• Minimum 4 years of relevant industry experience.
• Must have experience on multiple Hardware and Software Environments and be comfortable with complex heterogeneous systems environments.
• Must be an Oracle Certified Professional DBA (11g or above) with hands-on experience of RAC, RMAN.
• Good understanding of the Oracle database, related utilities and tools and underlying operating system.
• Excellent knowledge of the physical database design and all Oracle backup and recovery scenarios.
• Developing, managing and testing back-up and recovery plans. Data archival and space management.
• Ability to perform both Oracle and operating system performance tuning and monitoring.
• Good knowledge of Oracle security management and Oracle data integrity.
• Experience in code/data migration, database change management and data management through the various stages of the development life cycle.
• Sound knowledge of both database and system performance tuning and implemented application systems.
• Should have the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Male candidates preferred as the role requires working in shifts.
