Role – Assistant Manager for Accounts and Finance

1. Responsible for handling Accounts, Taxation and compliance functions.
2. Taking care of monthly book closer and preparation of monthly/quarterly financial
statements.
3.  Responsible for all Direct and Indirect tax compliances and labor compliances including
returns and coordination with vendors (i.e  Taking care of monthly and quarterly compliances
such as GST, TDS,PF, ESI and PT payments and returns)
4. Responsible for the completion of internal and external audits in a given time by coordinating with
auditors.
5. Preparation of annual financial statements
6. Good knowledge on all the accounting standards.

Role and Responsibilities:

Define, develop and communicate key metrics and business trends to partner and management teams
• Model and present data to create reporting and dashboards for business process management and data mining
• Coordinate with business units and key process owners to identify, develop and drive key analytics and reporting projects relevant to the business
• Execute quantitative analysis that translate data into actionable insights
• Analyze business requirements for reporting and analysis and subsequently translating the emanating results into good technical data designs and reports
• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts and document information in details
• Design optimal solutions for integrating data requirements with systems
• Gather and maintain best practices that can be adopted in big data stacking and sharing across the business
• Keep abreast with technology; maintain a current level of knowledge of the technical environment relevant to industry leading practices and continuously propose innovative solutions
• Conduct any other activities relevant to the job

Basic Qualification:

• Minimum a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or engineering any other related subject
from a reputable university. MBA is preferable
• Excellent knowledge in statistical analysis (Regression, summarizing A/B experiments, and such).
• 3+ years of experience as a business analyst, preferably in a technology or logistics industry
• Strong quantitative abilities, distinctive problem-solving and excellent analysis skills
• Technical capabilities: Proficient in SQL, Advanced Excel, Other scripting language (Python/Perl)
• Strong working experience with BI tools (Micro Strategy, Qlik View, MS Power BI or Tableau) and Statistical
tools (R, SAS, SPSS)
• Excellent business acumen and understanding of business processes
• Supply Chain Management knowledge will be added advantage
Technical Knowledge
• Advanced knowledge of BI tools
• Knowledge in building reports and workflow design, and best practices in data management
• Able to work and communicate effectively with Engineers, DBAs and Business users
• Able to manage multiple projects concurrently

The engineering manager will:
1. Lead a growing team of engineers, responsible for overall technical direction of the team
2. Responsible for code and data architecture, resource management and timely delivery of
releases
3. Responsible for scaling team (hiring) and product infrastructure with the growing user
base
4. Responsible for creating scalable system architecture & infrastructure
5. Hands-on coding of individual product modules
6. Own the codebase, identify code optimization opportunities and maintain error-free code
7. Maintain code documentation
8. Setup and manage back-end infrastructure/services
9. Research new technologies that have the potential to improve the product
10. Manage team’s development backlog tasks/timelines
11. Conduct detailed code reviews, create test cases and conduct alpha, beta testing, conduct QA testing with help from QA engineers
12. Gather requirements business/product managers regarding new feature requests and bugs

What we need?
1. 3-5 years hands-on coding experience in mobile application development with Android SDK, Swift or Flutter SDK and Firebase, Google Cloud Platform or AWS backend
2. 1-2 years experience in leading a team of software development and QA engineers
3. A keen interest in new technologies and best practices
4. Experience in managing development tasks/timelines for a team (e.g. by holding daily scrums)
5. Ability to create fault resistant development frameworks for engineers
6. Experience in seamless deployment of apps to Play Store and App Store and knowledge of respective developer guidelines
7. Experience with performance testing & tuning, scaling and optimization of high-load applications
8. Experience in scaling through non-relational distributed databases

o Critical thinking mind who likes to solve complex problems, loves programming, and cherishes to work in a fast-paced environment.
o Strong Python development skills, with 7+ yrs. experience with SQL.
o A bachelor or master’s degree in Computer Science or related areas
o8+ years of experience in data integration and pipeline development
o Experience in Implementing Databricks Delta lake and data lake
o Expertise designing and implementing data pipelines using modern data engineering approach and tools: SQL, Python, Delta Lake, Databricks, Snowflake Spark
o Experience in working with multiple file formats (Parque, Avro, Delta Lake) & API
o experience with AWS Cloud on data integration with S3.
o Hands on Development experience with Python and/or Scala.
o Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
o Experience in using data modeling techniques and tools (focused on Dimensional design)
o Experience with micro-service architecture using Docker and Kubernetes
o Have experience working with one or more of the public cloud providers i.e. AWS, Azure or GCP
o Experience in effectively presenting and summarizing complex data to diverse audiences through visualizations and other means
o Excellent verbal and written communications skills and strong leadership capabilities
