At Qiro, we are a dynamic team united by a mission to foster a fair, transparent, and decentralized global lending market. Our focus lies in developing an institutional private credit protocol that seamlessly connects on-chain stablecoin lenders with off-chain fintech borrowers.

What are we looking for:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Credit to lead our credit department and drive our lending strategies. As the Head of Credit, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of credit underwriting, risk management, credit policy, ensuring that our lending practices align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices while maximizing profitability. The borrowers are NBFIs / NBFCs / Fintech lenders / Debt Funds spread across emerging economies like SEA, LATAM, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Head the Risk Policy, Credit Underwriting and Collection functions of NBFC / NBFI / Fintech lender / Debt fund from SEA, LATAM, etc.
• Facilitate the development and constant update of risk policies and related frameworks.
• Proactive risk assessment of existing portfolio on regular basis identifying weak accounts.
• Constantly monitor and evaluate Early Warning Signals and deploy/ amend the limits structure for managing the risk concentration across a broad range of parameters.
• Evaluating creditworthiness and financial stability of global borrowers such as NBFC / NBFI / Fintech Lenders / Debt Funds.
• Assessing risks in lending and making informed decisions.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of lending regulations.
• Provide detailed monthly and weekly reporting for LPs, investors, and management.
• Build, review, update and maintain the Credit Policy.

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in the Banking/NBFC/Fintech space with at least 3-4 years of experience at management level.
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or related field.
• Experience in credit analysis or underwriting of NBFCs / Fintech lenders / FIs
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities especially to manage global (mostly SEA & LATAM) FIs (NBFC / NBFI / Fintech Lender / Debt Fund)
• In depth knowledge of credit fund, hedge fund, debt fund, structured debt, corporate finance, and fintech lending. 
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance issues related to lending operations.
• Exceptional skills in understanding data, trend analysis, score cards and behavior scores is must

Nice to have:

• Excellent communication skills along with strong presentation and data analytics skills.
• Professional certifications such as CA, CFA, FRM, or similar credentials are a plus.

Salary Range : 20 LPA to 35 LPA

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience (4+ for Senior Data Engineer) with system/data integration, development or implementation of enterprise and/or cloud software Engineering degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Extensive hands-on experience with data integration/EAI technologies (File, API, Queues, Streams), ETL Tools and building custom data pipelines.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Python, JavaScript and/or Java
• Familiarity with version control/SCM is a must (experience with git is a plus).
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (any vendor) Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts.
• Strong organisational and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
• Strong analytical ability, judgment and problem-solving techniques Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross functional team.

  • You will have generic capabilities across application development stack and strong technical expertise in one / two application layers
  • Excellent working knowledge of the following technologies:
  • Implementation exp (hands-on) on Server Side Java technologies (Core Java, Multithreading, Concurrent API’s, Executor services, collections, concurrent packages, DS/Algo, design patters/principles, basic data case, Junit/agile)
