OVERVIEW:
As a Product Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving product decisions through data insights and operational understanding. You’ll work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Business, and Operations teams to analyze user behavior, monitor feature performance, and identify opportunities that accelerate growth, improve user experience, and increase revenue. Your focus will be on translating data into actionable strategies, supporting product roadmaps, and enabling informed decision-making across demand-side projects and operations.
WHAT YOU WILL DO?
● Partnering with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to define metrics, build dashboards, and track product performance.
● Conducting deep-dive analyses of large-scale data to identify trends, user behavior patterns, growth gaps, and improvement opportunities.
● Performing competitive benchmarking and industry research to support product strategy and prioritization.
● Generating data-backed insights to drive feature enhancements, product experiments, and business decisions.
● Tracking post-launch impact by measuring adoption, engagement, retention, and ROI of new features.
● Working with Data, Engineering, Business, and Ops teams to design and measure experiments (A/B tests, cohorts, funnels).
● Creating reports, visualizations, and presentations that simplify complex data for stakeholdersand leadership.
● Supporting the product lifecycle with relevant data inputs during research, ideation, launch, and optimization phases.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

● Coordinate with multiple developers and product team to communicate our technical
requirements, drive schedules and review and help build test plans that test end-to-end
functionality, always seeking to avoid defects or find them at the earliest stage possible
● Design, execute and automate tests of front end applications and back-end software
● Test systems at the user level, both manually and with automated tools
● Able to understand software internals, debug problems using log files, and write

Required Qualifications:
● 2+ year of experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer
● Experience in manual testing

● Should have exposure to API testing using tools such as POSTMAN
● Experience with Selenium or equivalent tools is a plus
● Ability to write test plans and test strategy documents

Your Day-to-Day
- Derive Insights and drive major strategic projects to improve Business Metrics and take responsibility for cost efficiency and Revenue management across the country
- Perform Market research, Post Mortem analyses on competitor expansion and Market Penetration patterns.
- Provide in-depth business analysis and data insights for internal stakeholders to help improve business. Derive and launch projects in order to reduce the gaps between targeted and projected business metrics
- Responsible for optimizing Carsome’s C2B and B2C customer acquisition and Dealer retention funnel. Work closely with Marketing and Tech teams to create, produce and implement creative digital marketing campaigns and drive CRM initiatives and strategies
- Analyse the Revenue flows and processes large datasets to gather process insights and propose process improvement ideas for Carsome across SE-Asia
- Lead commercial projects & process mapping, from conceptualization to completion, to build or re-engineer business models, tools and processes.
- Having experience in analyses and insights in dealing on Unit Economics, COGs and P&L will be preferred ,but not mandatory
- Use Business Intelligence and Data Science tools to answer the appropriate business problems using SQL, Tableau or Python.
- Coordinate with HQ Data Insights Team and manage internal stakeholders across departments to ensure the smooth delivery of strategic projects
- Work across different departments/functions (BI,DE, tech, pricing, finance, operations, marketing, CS,CX) and also on high impact projects and support business expansion initiatives
Your Know-Know
- At least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or the equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in strategy / consulting / analytical / project management roles; experience in e-commerce, Start-ups or Unicorns(CARS24,OLA,SWIGGY,FLIPKART,OYO) or entrepreneur experience preferred + At Least 2 years of experience leading a team
- Top-notch academics from a Tier 1 college (IIM / IIT/ NIT)
- Must have SQL/PostgreSQL/Tableau Experience.
- Excellent Market Research, reporting and analytical skills, including carrying out weekly and monthly reporting
- Holds experience in working with Data/Business Intelligence Team

Your Roles and Responsibilities:
Business Development is a critical aspect of our platform business.
1. Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media.
2. Calling 65-70 leads everyday

About the role
