ServiceNow Developer - Pune (3-7 Years Experience)

Role

We are searching for a talented ServiceNow Developer to join in Pune. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and implementing customized solutions on the ServiceNow platform to automate workflows, enhance efficiency, and improve user experience across various departments.

Responsibilities:

·      Analyze business needs and translate them into technical requirements for ServiceNow applications.

·      Design, develop, and implement custom ServiceNow modules, workflows, and integrations.

·      Configure and customize existing ServiceNow functionalities to meet specific business needs.

·      Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code using ServiceNow APIs and scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Glide).

·      Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT Operations, Business Analysts) to ensure successful implementation of ServiceNow solutions.

·      Stay up-to-date on the latest ServiceNow features and best practices.

·      Provide technical support and guidance to end-users on ServiceNow functionalities.

Qualifications:

·      3-7 years of experience working with ServiceNow platform development and configuration.

·      Proven experience in designing and developing custom ServiceNow applications and workflows.

·      Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, modules, and functionalities (ITSM, ITOM, CSM, etc., is a plus).

·      Proficiency in scripting languages like JavaScript and Glide.

·      Experience with REST APIs and web services integration is a plus.

·      Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

·      Strong communication and collaboration skills.

·      Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

·      A ServiceNow certification (Certified ServiceNow Administrator or similar) is a plus.

Required Technical Skills

 Experience required: 5-8 yrs.  Minimum 5 years of ServiceNow Design and Development experience apart from

Job Description: 

ServiceNow is a cloud-based platform that provides IT services management (ITSM), IT operations management (ITOM), and other business process automation solutions. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining applications on the ServiceNow platform. They have expertise in customizing and configuring the ServiceNow platform to meet the specific needs of the business. 

Responsibilities:

• Integration and Automation: Integrate ServiceNow with external systems, applications, and tools using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and scripting languages like JavaScript. Automate processes and workflows to streamline IT service delivery and enhance operational efficiency.
• Testing and Documentation: Develop test plans, perform unit testing, and assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure quality and functionality of ServiceNow solutions. Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and process documentation.
• System Configuration: Configure ServiceNow modules, tables, fields, forms, views, notifications, and other system components to meet business needs. Define and maintain data models, access controls, and user roles within the ServiceNow platform.

• Ensure continual process improvement within the NOC including but not limited to automation of NOC tasks and reporting, implementation of enterprise-wide monitoring initiatives, and routine administration tasks.

1.      Core Responsibilities

·      Review, suggest and implement enhancements/Bug fixes to the ServiceNow platform.

·      Work closely with other IT teams to help implement integrations from other platforms(like Monitoring tools: Nagios, Prometheus, Sematext, Dynatrace etc., )  into the ServiceNow ecosystem.

·      Attend important business meetings to gather information around projects pertaining to ServiceNow.
