Job Summary:

Seeking a seasoned SQL + ETL Developer with 4+ years of experience in managing large-scale datasets and cloud-based data pipelines. The ideal candidate is hands-on with MySQL, PySpark, AWS Glue, and ETL workflows, with proven expertise in AWS migration and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures to handle large datasets (100+ million records).
• Build and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using AWS Glue and PySpark.
• Work on data migration tasks in AWS environments.
• Monitor and improve database performance; automate key performance indicators and reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data integration and delivery requirements.
• Write shell scripts for automation and manage ETL jobs efficiently.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with MySQL, complex SQL queries, and stored procedures.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Glue, PySpark, and ETL processes.
• Good understanding of AWS ecosystem and migration strategies.
• Proficiency in shell scripting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

• Working knowledge of Python.
• Experience with AWS RDS.

Overall responsibility:

• Drafts, implements, and executes policies and procedures to facilitate a quality customer service experience.
• Establishes performance metrics for customer service representatives. Establishes service levels and requirements for the department.
• Develops and implements methods to record, assess, and analyse customer feedback.
• Develops and implements training and quality assurance programs for new hires and experienced employees.
• Identifies and recommends or acquires updates and expansions to technology, equipment, and policies that may improve customer service and retention. Acts as a liaison between the customer service department and other divisions in the company.

Day to day responsibilities :

• Managing the customer support department’s day-to-day functions. Responding to escalated customer support issues.
• Implementing customer support processes to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Formulating and revising customer support policies and promoting their implementation. Informing the team of all new information related to products, procedures, and trends.
• Assessing support statistics and preparing detailed reports on the findings.
• Interviewing and hiring new employees. Overseeing and evaluating the team's ongoing training efforts.
• Delivering performance evaluations and following the disciplinary process according to company policy. Managing the budget of the customer support department

What does the core role include?

• Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance
• Designing stateless components in React Native
• Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Working with the developers to create and maintain a robust framework to support the apps
• Working with the developers to build the interface with a focus on usability features

What can fetch you brownie points?

• Hands on experience with React Native is required
• Hands-on experience in React Native APIs, ReactJS, Javascript, ECMAScript (OOJS) and JSX.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript ecosystem
• Hands on experience on Android in creating Hybrid / Native applications
• Demonstrable UI/UX experience on a large-scale app.
• Thorough understanding of React Native development tools like IDEs (Nuclide, Atom, Sublime Text, or Visual
• Good knowledge of JS frameworks like ReactJS is a plus.

1. Work experience in Frameworks: Angular 2/9+, Bootstrap, Serverless
2. Responsive UI design and development using Angular Material design
3. Programming: JavaScript(OOP), Typescript, Redux, npm, Angular CLI, Java, CSS3, HTML5, Rest APIs, XML, Json, Ajax handling, angular custom components, state mgmt eg., rxjs, Redux observable, Ngrx, Ngxs.
4. Knowledge of RESTful services and Web API's
5. Experience applying design patterns to develop and support web pages that run on multiple browsers including mobile/handheld devices
6. Experience building high-traffic, scalable, and high performance Web sites
7. Web Servers: Nginx, Apache, Nodejs
8. Tools: GIT hub or AWS Code Commit or bit bucket
9. Cloud Exposure: Amazon API Gateway, AWS web-services, Lambda functions.
