Responsibilities
Objective:
- The Channel Account Manager will be part of the sales team and will work closely with Partners, OEM Sales Team and Business Team at Head office to develop the business.
- He or she has to be committed and proactive to work with our sales teams and manage big as well as Run Rate SMB deals.
- The role will focus on delivering measurable results including increased revenue, market share.
- Ensure channels comply to Partner Program accreditation levels.
- Balance short term initiatives with longer term development.
- Enable sales and pre-sales people to be successful
Key Responsibilities
- Manage partners and selected end users in the region
- Build revenue and non-revenue business plans with these partners.
- Provide ongoing sales and technical trainings to these partners.
- Build marketing plans to drive incremental sales pipeline and revenues with development funds.
- Act as key channel strategist to regional sales managers within region.
- Partner with Savex and Fortinet marketing teams to drive revenue growth within region.
- Provide geographic channel coverage for the region
- Carry quarterly and annual revenue targets.
Skills Needed
Qualification:
- College or University degree preferred. An Engineering Degree will give extra advantages.
Key Skills & Experience
- Around 5 years channel sales and territory management in networking or security sectors.
- Experience building business and marketing plans with partners.
- Must have experience in delivering sales training, and experience in working in a fast-paced environment with revenue responsibilities.
- Excellent presentation skills to executives & individual contributors
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

- Implementation Experience on Hitachi Vistara Server and Storage
- Implementation Experience on IBM Server and Storage
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical solution expertise for the Server and Storage portfolio to partners and customers.
- Deliver technical demonstrations, POCs, and architecture designs.
- Enable partners through technical training and enablement sessions.
- Assist partners in responding to technical requirements in RFPs and proposals.
- Collaborate with OEM technical teams to understand hardware specifications, integrations, and deployments.
- Support partners in articulating technical solutions and differentiators to customers.
Skills Needed
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering/computer science / IT.
Key Skills & Experience
- Implementation (Installation, Configuration, Deployment or upgradation) Experience on Server and Storage
- 3–6 years of Total Experience with 1-2 yrs of pre-sales or solution consulting experience in Servers and Storage.
- Strong technical understanding of servers, storage systems, networking devices, and infrastructure appliances.
- Ability to design hardware solution architectures and deployment plans.
- Strong communication, demo, and documentation skills.
