Position Overview
We are seeking a meticulous Ecommerce- Content Quality to review product listings and ensure the accuracy, consistency, and alignment of product images, descriptions, and specifications with the actual products. The ideal candidate will have prior eCommerce experience, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Excel.
Key Responsibilities
- Review product listings to ensure accuracy in images, descriptions, and specifications.
- Cross-check product images with descriptions to maintain consistency and eliminate discrepancies.
- Identify, document, and report mismatches or errors in product data, working closely with the content team and vendors to resolve issues.
- Conduct regular audits of the product catalog to ensure all product details are up-to-date and accurate.
- Collaborate with merchandising, content, and IT teams to address product data accuracy issues.
- Utilize MS Excel to track, analyze, and report discrepancies or trends in product data accuracy.
- Maintain consistency across product categories to enhance user experience.
- Assist in troubleshooting issues related to incorrect product data.
Qualifications
- 3-4 years of experience in eCommerce quality control or product data management.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies in product content.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data analysis, and reporting).
- Hands-on experience with eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, etc.).
- Familiarity with Product Content Management Systems (CMS) and basic web technologies.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of product accuracy checks.
Desired Skills
- Experience with image/content validation tools or eCommerce testing software.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices for product content and listings.
- Familiarity with web design standards and basic HTML is a plus.
