Database Performance Engineer

Responsibilities:
 Build the foundation of our supply side (enterprise) product from
scratch. Maintain high standards of pixel perfect Ui’s and efficient User
Experiences.
 Our Supply Side ecosystem involves a plethora of products such as
Catalog Management, Analytics Dashboard, Orders Processing, Finance
Reconciliation, Notification centres etc. Develop a deep understanding
of the mentioned use cases and build the systems for scale.
 Coordinate with Product managers, Product Designers & Backend
Developers and outline sprints and tasks on a weekly basis.
 Conduct Comprehensive Unit tests before passing features to QAs. This
requires a good top level understanding of backend infrastructure.
 Maintain High level of Code Quality and constantly optimize for
performance and user experience.
 Be Collaborative. Self-reliant and always keep pushing the limits of your
knowledge

❖ You will be responsible for designing and implement Single Page
Applications using the best practices for leading German clients.
❖ The primary focus will be to deliver a complete and functioning front
end application for a desktop and adapted to mobile devices.
❖ The implementation will focus on data processing efficiency and
performance, as you will primarily work on real-time data
applications.
❖ You will be a part of a team of back-end developers, DevOps
engineers. The projects are managed in an Agile way, using the
SCRUM process.
We will provide upto 20LPA

 

Desired Candidate Profile

What you need to have:

• A Master's degree in business administration (MBA), Marketing
• Minimum 16 to 22 yrs of Sales experience in personal care/ hygiene industry
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to travel regularly to different markets
• Proficiency with Microsoft office
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work well with little supervision

1-3 years experience in role of sales support, B2B sales support and/or office administration. Experience in working with a travel agency, travel website, travel sales back office or similar will be strongly preferred. Strong preference to candidates who have experience working with adventure travel. A preference towards operating in an environment where you are independent, organized, and can handle situations that require extreme multi-tasking. - Automate solutions for repeatable problems

- Develop test plan and testcases to demonstrate application/database readiness post migration

- Work closely with application teams to ensure business functionality and SLAs are met

- Consult for optimal design of database environments, analyzing complex distributed production deployments, and making recommendations to optimize performance

- Develop innovative solutions to complex business and technology problems

- Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and AWS services

- Partner with the sales team to design solutions for customers that drive AWS adoption and revenue

- Conduct technical sessions for internal teams, partners and customers

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :

- 12+ years of experience in a technical position.

- 4+ years on any Cloud Platform (AWS, Azure, Google etc).

- Bachelor's degree in Information Science / Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.

- Strong programming skills in Java and/or Python.

- Strong hands-on experience in integrating multiple databases like Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL etc.

- Deep hands-on experience in the design, development and deployment of business software at scale.

- Customer facing skills to represent AWS well within the customer's environment and drive discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management and risk mitigation

- Leading/Involved in highly-available and fault-tolerant enterprise and web-scale software applications.

- Experience in performance optimization techniques.

- High end Troubleshooting and Communication skills.

- Proven experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

- Implementing experience with primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway Route53 & S3).

- AWS Solutions Architect Certified

- Infrastructure automation through DevOps scripting (E.g. shell, Python, Ruby, Powershell, Perl)

- Configuration management using CloudFormation and/or Chef/Puppet

- Experience in database programming like PL/SQL etc.

- Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges

- Integration of AWS cloud services with on-premise technologies from Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP etc.

- Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (eg. security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA etc.).

- Extended travel to customer locations may be required to sell and deliver professional services as needed
