Proposal Engineer:

Background required for Manufacturing of Head Exchangers, pressure vessels & Heavy fabrication Industries.

Job Details

1.       Handling Enquiries 

a)     Review enquiry with respect to design and executions capability 

b)     Communicate with the customer for resolving incomplete, ambiguous and conflicting requirements.

2.       Thermal design (Aspen & HTRI software)

a)     Understand the customer requirement and carry out the thermal design in Aspen/HTRI

b) Selection of best design for the given parameters.

b)     Carry out the preliminary mechanical design

3.       Costing of equipment and calculate final price

a)     Carry out the costing based on mechanical design, and customer drawing in Excel format

b)     Send raw material inquiries to our supplier and get a quotation for major raw materials

4.       Preparation of GA drawing in Auto cad software if required by Customer.

5.       Prepare technical offer

a)  Review of Customer specifications and prepare Deviation list.

b)  Preparation of technical offer

c)  Discuss with the customer after submitting technical offer and sort-out there queries.

6.  Visit at customer office for technical discussion.

Requirements:

1.3+ years of strong programming experience with .Net Framework and .Net Core based software applications. (.NET,.NET Core, C#, ASP.Net, JavaScript framworks, Web API, MS SQL Server, Cosmos DB, Docker, Azure Cloud)

2. Strong knowledge of Microservices based Architecture, Design Patterns and Principles.(Optional) / Hands on experience on React Js /Redux (Optional)

3. Prior experience in handling application with larger volumes of data .

4. 3+ years of experience of designing high-performance enterprise software application.

5. Works with application development team to solve technical challenges with industry best practices.

6. Addresses and resolves complex technical issues with internal/external customers.

7. Design software systems with various Microsoft technologies and ensure compliance to all architecture requirements.

8. Review infrastructure for any issues and recommend solutions.

9. Very important to be good communicator and updates management team with the weekly/monthly status.

10. Analyzes enterprise system performance. Develops and implements system performance improvements.

11. Participates in development activities including code reviews, as well as coding and testing of new enhancements.

Responsibilities

Providing a strong leadership for the Tech QA department to move to greater heights of value and maturity.

Develop functional and performance test plans and cases for internal and external facing software systems

Driving tools and frameworks for functional automation and performance  testing

Participate in required activities and validation gates running up to a General Availability release

Building a strong competence in project management, process management and QA practices

Responsible for the delivery from the project management, improvements in software engineering practices, process adoption and quality aspects of all the releases of products and features.

Responsible for building a  strong knowledge base in product, domain and functional areas

High level of maturity in delivery management in terms of project planning, execution, quality and stakeholder expectation management

Work in fast paced development environment, interacting with product owners, developers and other stakeholders across the globe

Demonstrates a product engineering mindset, ability to strategize and implement the vision & mission

Ideal Candidate Profile

7 to 15 years of product QA experience, with at least 2 years of experience as QEM or EM

7+ years of experience as a SDET/automation engineer

5+ years of experience Testing software for mobile applications/ web applications on devices(Android/IPhone)

Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, or equivalent technical domain

Preferably with product based startup experience

Should have built automation competency using selenium, appium, web services and performance testing

Knowledge and application of concepts such as continuous integration, continuous build, dev ops.

Shows creativity and initiative to improve Test coverage and effectiveness.

Strong competency in project management, process management, Product quality management, people management and delivery management skills and experience

Good understanding and experience in working product development organisations, B2C product line, and mobile products.

Qualifications:
