5. Consultative Selling & Solutioning
- Work closely with pre-sales and technical teams to understand client requirements and develop relevant technology solutions.
- Lead client discovery sessions and translate business challenges into solution opportunities.
- Drive proposals, solution presentations, and commercial discussions.
- Position Techjays' AI, software engineering, automation, and digital transformation capabilities based on client business needs.

About Codemonk
Codemonk is a product and digital engineering (PDE) services company. We build custom software across three service lines: Enterprise AI (knowledge retrieval, agentic workflows, process automation), Enterprise Application Engineering (portals, platforms, and enterprise integrations), and Computer Vision & Industrial AI (safety monitoring, quality inspection, spatial intelligence). We work with global enterprises, including a long-standing relationship with a Fortune 500 FMCG company, alongside specialized industrial and technology clients across India and Japan. About the role You'll own a portfolio of existing accounts spanning our largest strategic relationships and a set of smaller, recurring accounts. Twelve months in, you will be running structured account plans for your top accounts, owning the commercial relationship — pricing, negotiation, deal shaping — rather than relaying proposals from our pre-sales team. You'll have built a track record of self-originated cross sell and upsell opportunities across all three of Codemonk's service lines. On our very largest accounts, you'll operate alongside company leadership, who stay involved as executive sponsors — this role is the account strategist and day-to-day commercial owner, not a replacement for that senior relationship.
What you'll do
• Own the commercial relationship for a named portfolio of existing accounts, spanning global enterprise and mid-market industrial clients, from high-touch strategic accounts to lighter touch recurring ones
• Build and maintain structured account expansion plans — growth levers, quarterly roadmap, risk register — for your top accounts, and run regular account reviews.
• Proactively identify and pitch cross-sell and upsell opportunities across Codemonk's three service lines, rather than waiting for the client to ask
• Own pricing strategy and commercial structuring for deals within your accounts, partnering with our pre-sales team for technical scoping and estimates rather than simply passing their output through
• Track account health signals — utilization, satisfaction, delivery feedback — in partnership with delivery teams, and convert them into commercial conversations before they become risks
• Keep CRM records for your accounts accurate and complete, as a byproduct of running the account well — not as the job itself
• Partner with company leadership on executive-level engagement (client visits, roadmap workshops) for your most strategic relationships
What we're looking for
Required
• 5–7 years of experience in account management, client partnership, or enterprise sales within a project-based professional services, IT services, or software consulting environment (not primarily subscription/SaaS customer success)
• Experience owning commercial outcomes for enterprise accounts — pricing conversations, contract negotiation, deal structuring — not just relationship maintenance
• A track record of growing revenue within existing accounts through self-originated cross sell or upsell, not only responding to inbound requests
• Comfort translating technical capability into business value for enterprise stakeholders, and partnering closely with technical or pre-sales teams for deeper scoping
• Strong CRM discipline and follow-through
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, comfortable navigating multiple levels of a large enterprise organization Preferred
• Experience managing accounts in FMCG, manufacturing, or industrial sectors
• Experience selling AI, data, or software services specifically
• Exposure to international client engagement, particularly Japan
• Experience building and running structured account plans or quarterly business reviews

₹20–26 lakh fixed + up to 20% variable

The bet we're making
Most of what a media buyer does today - building campaigns, structuring accounts, reading reports, spotting the obvious optimisation - is going to be absorbed by AI. Not in five years. Now.
If that's right, the scarce skill in an agency stops being platform expertise. It becomes two things. Knowing what to point the systems at. And being the person a client actually trusts.
We're hiring for that role. You'd own a portfolio of client businesses. You'd run them through an AI layer we're building. You'd be the human accountable for what comes out. Not an account manager who uses AI. Someone whose job is to get far more done per person than the industry thinks possible.
About Tealbox
We're a paid media agency for B2B SaaS and DTC brands, on Meta, Google and YouTube. Accounts run from ₹5 lakh to ₹5 crore a month in ad spend. Small team, serious about the craft. We're working out what an agency should be once the execution gets automated.
What you'd own
- The portfolio. A book of client businesses, end to end. Measured on whether clients stay and grow and on the portfolio's margin - not on what you shipped.
- The client relationship. You're the person they call. You bring a point of view they didn't ask for. You tell them the truth when it's inconvenient. You say no when no is right.
- Quality control at scale. The hard part. Twenty accounts of AI-generated analysis means twenty accounts of plausible-looking output. Some of it is wrong. All of it is spending someone's money. You're the check.
- The AI layer, applied. We build the systems. You decide how they're used on each account. You spot where they're working and where they're producing confident nonsense. You tell us what to build next.
- A small pod. A couple of people plus the systems. You coach them and set how the pod works.
Who we're looking for
Five to ten years in account management, client servicing, performance marketing or growth. We care more about the shape of your judgment than the label on your CV.
- Business judgment. You see what actually drives a client's business. When you see a number, you have an instinct for whether it's plausible before you check.
- Client trust. You've held senior relationships and kept them. You've challenged a client and been right.
- AI fluency you can show. Not "I use ChatGPT." You've changed how you work. You know where the tools break. You've built something other people now use.
- The scepticism to catch a wrong answer. You don't accept confident output because it's well formatted.
On advertising knowledge, read carefully. You need to read performance data with confidence. You need to hold your own with a media buyer. You need to be credible with a client about why performance moved. That's a real bar and we'll test it. You do not need to build campaigns yourself. We think the buying craft moves into the systems. What doesn't move is judgment about whether the output is any good. If you're a strong media buyer who wants to keep building campaigns, this job will frustrate you.
Compensation
Fixed: ₹20–26 lakh a year, depending on experience. Variable: up to 20% of fixed, paid twice a year. Three targets: client retention in your portfolio, portfolio margin, and accounts under management.
Why this is worth your time
- You'd be early on the thing everyone's about to do. Every agency will claim to be AI-native within two years. You'd have actually done it, with proof.
- Your output is your market value. If you can run twenty-five accounts where a peer runs six, you're worth several times that peer in the market. The variable is built to reflect that. This role makes you more valuable, not more locked in.
- Direct line to the founder building the system you use. Your feedback goes straight to the person building it.
The honest version
- The AI layer runs on a few accounts today. It's being expanded. Some of what you need will be ready when you join. Some won't. You'd shape it from real problems.
- The ramp is real. You start with five to eight accounts, not twenty. Twenty to thirty is where this goes within a year, if the systems deliver. That's the direction, not the starting line.
- Gurgaon-based, hybrid, three days a week in office; days agreed with Varun.
- We work to the outcome. When a client outcome, a launch or a live problem needs attention outside normal hours, we deal with it. That expectation grows with seniority. Three things come with it. Your manager owes you recovery time after a heavy stretch. Anything that causes repeated out-of-hours work gets fixed as a process problem, not absorbed. And nobody here measures commitment by response time at midnight.
- We're mid-repair. We're a founder-led business fixing how it manages people. You'd be joining during, not after.
- Nobody has done this job before. Including us.
How we'll hire
Four rounds, quick, and you'll know where you stand at every step.
- Track record and business judgment: A conversation.
- Assignment: A three-hour take-home exercise.
- Client leadership: Assignment discussion and a live client role-play.
- Values and ways of working: A two-way conversation.
If this sounds like the kind of challenge you’d enjoy, we’d love to hear from you.
The recruiter has not been active on this job recently. You may apply but please expect a delayed response.

The ideal candidate should understand enterprise technology sales and be capable of engaging CIOs, CTOs, Engineering leaders, Infrastructure leaders, Data/AI leaders, and business stakeholders around transformation initiatives.
This is not a transactional cloud-reselling role. We are looking for someone capable of developing consultative, multi-service customer relationships.
Role Charter
The Account Executive owns:
Prospect → Discover → Qualify → Shape → Propose → Negotiate → Close → Handover
The primary objective is:
Acquire new Azure customers and maximize the strategic value of every new customer relationship.
The Account Executive owns the commercial opportunity and closure.

- Build a healthy pipeline capable of consistently achieving revenue targets.
- Identify organizations undergoing cloud adoption, migration, modernization, Data/AI transformation, or infrastructure optimization.

Engage customers around business and technology outcomes rather than individual Azure services.
Understand:
- Business objectives
- Existing technology landscape
- Cloud strategy
- Application portfolio
- Infrastructure challenges
- Security requirements
- Data & AI priorities
- Cost challenges
- Availability and resilience requirements
- Modernization roadmap

3. Azure Solution Sales
Develop opportunities across Comprinno's Azure portfolio, including:

4. Microsoft Co-Sell & Ecosystem Engagement
- Build strong working relationships with relevant Microsoft field sellers, partner teams, solution specialists, and account teams.
- Identify joint account opportunities and participate in account mapping.
- Develop Microsoft-sourced and Microsoft-influenced pipeline.

- Leverage appropriate Microsoft partner programs, marketplace opportunities, incentives, and funding mechanisms.
- Participate in joint customer meetings, workshops, events, and campaigns.
- Maintain disciplined follow-up on partner-generated opportunities.
The objective is to turn the Microsoft relationship into a repeatable customer-acquisition channel, not simply maintain partner engagement.

Apply disciplined qualification before significant technical and organizational resources are committed.
Establish:
- Customer problem
- Business impact
- Technical need
- Decision criteria
- Budget/commercial viability
- Decision-making stakeholders
- Competition
- Procurement process
- Expected timeline
- Next actions
Disqualify weak opportunities early and focus resources on opportunities with meaningful closure potential.
6. Opportunity Shaping & Solution Development
- Bring Presales and Engineering teams into qualified opportunities at the appropriate stage.

7. Commercial Ownership & Closure
Own the commercial lifecycle through closure.
- Develop proposals and commercial strategy.

- Lead commercial negotiations.
- Navigate customer procurement processes.
- Coordinate SOWs, contracts, NDAs, and commercial approvals.
- Maintain momentum across complex buying cycles.
- Identify and resolve barriers to closure.

8. Pipeline & Forecast Management
- Maintain accurate opportunity information in HubSpot.
- Build sufficient pipeline coverage against quota.
- Maintain realistic close dates and opportunity stages.
- Conduct regular pipeline reviews.
- Forecast revenue accurately.

9. Land-and-Expand Strategy
The initial Azure engagement should be viewed as the beginning of a broader customer relationship.
Identify potential customer lifecycle paths such as:
Migration → Modernization → Managed Services → Security → Resilience → Data & AI
or
Data/AI → Cloud Modernization → Platform Engineering → Managed Services
The AE should establish the broader account potential during the acquisition process and capture it as part of the account strategy.
Following successful onboarding, expansion ownership transitions to the Customer Success organization.
10. Sales-to-Customer-Success Handover
- Ensure structured handover after customer acquisition.
- Transfer customer context, stakeholders, commitments, commercial terms, risks, and identified future opportunities.
- Introduce the Account Manager – Customer Success as the long-term commercial relationship owner.
- Remain engaged during the transition where executive or relationship continuity is required.
The objective is to create a seamless:
AE → Delivery → Customer Success
customer experience.

- Entrepreneurial mindset and bias for execution.

- Experience with Microsoft co-sell and partner-led GTM.
- Exposure to Azure Marketplace and Microsoft partner programs.
- Experience selling Data, AI, Generative AI, Security, DevOps, or Managed Services.
- Understanding of cloud economics and FinOps.
- Microsoft Azure Fundamentals or other Microsoft certifications are advantageous.
- MBA or equivalent business qualification is advantageous but not mandatory.
What We're Looking For

- Knows when to qualify aggressively and when to walk away.

- Work closely with experienced Cloud, AI, Presales, and Engineering teams.
- Participate directly in building a new growth engine within an established cloud technology company.

You will own the complete enterprise sales cycle—from prospecting and discovery to solution positioning, demos, commercial negotiations, procurement, and closure.
You will engage with CXOs, CIOs, CTOs, CHROs, General Counsels, IT Heads, Legal Leaders, HR Leaders, Procurement teams, and Business Heads.
This role requires a strong hunter mindset, consultative selling capability, commercial acumen, and experience managing complex enterprise buying processes.
Candidates managing the USA territory should be comfortable engaging customers during relevant US business hours.
What You’ll Own

- Drive new-logo acquisition and revenue growth across assigned USA or India territories.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of mid-market and enterprise opportunities.
- Develop relationships with CXOs and senior stakeholders across IT, HR, Legal, Finance, Procurement, and Operations.
- Conduct discovery to understand customer challenges, systems, budgets, timelines, and decision criteria.
- Position Apps 365 solutions through consultative and value-based selling.
- Lead product demonstrations, business cases, proposals, commercial discussions, and negotiations.
- Manage RFPs, RFIs, security evaluations, vendor onboarding, procurement, and enterprise contracts.
- Position Apps 365's Microsoft 365-native architecture, including SharePoint, Teams, Azure, and Power Platform.
- Leverage Microsoft Marketplace, Co-Sell, partner, and ecosystem opportunities where relevant.
- Work closely with Product, Presales, Marketing, Engineering, Customer Success, and Leadership.
- Monitor competitors, customer trends, and market opportunities.
- Maintain accurate forecasting, CRM hygiene, opportunity notes, and next steps.
- Identify cross-sell, upsell, and strategic account growth opportunities.
What You Bring

- 5+ years of B2B SaaS, enterprise software, cloud, or technology sales experience.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding enterprise sales targets.
- Experience selling to mid-market and enterprise customers.
- Exposure to the USA and/or India enterprise market.
- Strong understanding of prospecting, discovery, demos, negotiation, procurement, and closure.
- Experience acquiring new logos and managing complex sales cycles.
- Confidence engaging with CXOs and senior decision-makers.
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, presentation, and objection-handling skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and long sales cycles.

- Sell products built around Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Azure, and Power Platform.
- Work with a business backed by 12,100+ deployments across 172 countries.
- Gain exposure to Azure Marketplace, AppSource, Microsoft Co-Sell, and partner-led selling.
- Sell solutions across Legal, IT, HR, Finance, and Business Operations rather than a single product.
- Represent solutions designed with enterprise security, compliance, privacy, and customer data control in mind.
- Work closely with Product, Presales, Marketing, Customer Success, and senior leadership.
- Successful performers can grow into larger territories, strategic accounts, vertical leadership, or sales leadership roles.
- Join an organization recognized as a Great Place to Work, with employee benefits, learning opportunities, recognition programs, flexibility as per company policy, and team engagement initiatives.
- This is not a passive account-management role.
We are looking for professionals who enjoy:
New Accounts → Discovery → Demo → Business Case → Stakeholder Alignment → Proposal → Negotiation → Closure → Growth
You will receive support from Product, Presales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Leadership, but you will be expected to own your opportunities and your number.
If you enjoy building enterprise relationships, solving complex customer problems, competing in the SaaS market, and closing high-value business, we would like to hear from you.
