Role Overview
The Retail & E-commerce Marketing Executive is responsible for driving the retail and e-commerce merchandising, forecasting, and marketing/sales operations for our Brands. The role focuses on ensuring optimal product presentation, accurate forecasting, smooth retail operations end to end, and a premium online shopping experience across all sales channels — including Retail, brand website, Tata CLiQ Luxury, Myntra, and Amazon etc.
This position bridges the gap between sales, marketing, and operations, aligning product availability, brand presentation, and customer experience to achieve business and retail KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Apparel Merchandising & Forecasting
- ? Lead end-to-end merchandising planning for Apparel across retail and e-commerce platforms.
- ? Collaborate with the forecasting team to predict sales trends, manage stock levels, and minimize stockouts or overstock.
- ? Conduct Weekly/monthly leftover, cut-size, and size-gap reviews to maintain healthy inventory and improve sell-through rates.
2. Retail & Online Planogram Management
- Develop and execute seasonal planograms for stores and e-commerce channels.
- Maintain brand consistency and ensure premium visual merchandising standard across physical stores and online PDPs (Product Display Pages).
- Coordinate with e-commerce teams to ensure updated imagery, descriptions, and product tags and listing.
3. E-Commerce Operations
- Manage and monitor listings, pricing, and availability across brand website, Tata CLiQ Luxury, Myntra, and Amazon.
- Align with marketplaces for promotional visibility, banner placement, and campaign participation.
- Track sales and conversion metrics per channel to identify performance opportunities.
4. Retail Operations & Placement
- Optimize store space allocation and ensure product rotations to improve sales per sq. ft.
- Coordinate with store teams for new season rollouts, VM updates, and inventory replenishment.
- Support corporate orders and B2B requests with accurate and timely inventory support to internal sales team with catalogue and as per requirement.
5. Staff Training & Customer Experience
- Conduct product knowledge and visual merchandising training sessions for retail staff.
- Enhance customer experience through improved staff engagement, storytelling, and service excellence.
- Measure training impact through post-training sales uplift and feedback scores.
6. Promotions, Events &Exhibitions
- Plan and execute seasonal retail and e-commerce promotions (festive, clearance, and end-of-season).
- Coordinate participation in exhibitions and brand activations for visibility and lead generation.
- Track promotional ROI and leads generated for future optimization.
7. Visual Merchandising & Catalogue Management
- Maintain premium brand display standards through regular VM audits and refreshes.
- Create and manage seasonal catalogues and look books for sales and digital channels.
- Work with design and marketing teams for photo shoots and brand content.
8. Data Analytics & Reporting
- Provide weekly and monthly performance reports covering sales, stock health, and forecast accuracy.
- Analyze data to identify slow movers, bestsellers, and opportunity gaps.
- Present actionable insights to management for decision-making.
