Job Summary:

We are looking for an API Tester with UI Testing experience to join our QA team. If

you’re passionate about ensuring the quality of web and mobile applications, and have

experience testing APIs alongside UI, we want to hear from you!

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements, PRDs, and functional specifications.

• Design, review, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.

• Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and UAT testing.

• Conduct end-to-end testing for web and mobile applications (Android & iOS).

• Perform app-based testing, including UI/UX, functionality, compatibility, and device-specific testing.

• Execute cross-browser and cross-device testing.

• Perform API testing using tools like Postman / Swagger.

• Identify, log, track, and verify defects using JIRA / ClickUp / Azure DevOps.

• Validate backend data using basic SQL queries.

• Collaborate with developers, product, and business teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

• Support automation testing efforts by writing, executing, or maintaining test scripts (if applicable).

• Perform production sanity testing post-release.

• Prepare test execution reports, defect reports, and release sign-offs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance.

• Strong knowledge of SDLC & STLC.

• Hands-on experience in manual testing for web and mobile applications.

• Well-experienced in app-based testing (Android & iOS).

• Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman.

• Basic to intermediate exposure to automation testing (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).

• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools.

• Good understanding of Agile methodologies.

• Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.

● Familiarity with both manual and automated testing techniques for APIs and UI.

Technical Skills:

● Experience in scripting languages like Python for automation.

● Should have knowledge of databases, SQL and its query methods like SELECT,

INSERT, UPDATE, JOINs, DELETE.

● Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and web services.

● Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating tests into automation workflows.

● Should have working experience on Agile (Scrum or Kanban) methodologies and

test management tools (JIRA, etc.).

Nice to Have:

● Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments and tools like AWS Device

Farm or BrowserStack or LambdaTest.

● Knowledge of performance testing tools for APIs (JMeter, LoadRunner)

Introduction:

We are looking for a knowledgeable, detail-oriented person to help us test our code. As a QA Tester, you will work alongside our engineering team to ensure that our code is top-notch. By performing tests on our code and communicating the results with our engineering team, you can help us produce the most effective products that delight our clients. Your expertise will be crucial to help us identify and resolve bugs, glitches, and any other issues.

Responsibilities:

In this role you will collaborate with the engineering team and shall be responsible for:

• Test new and existing features (units and integration) and report errors and failures

• Work collaboratively with the developing team to correct errors and participate in testing for product releases

• Gathering requirements

• Test automation and test methodology (ex: TDD or BDD)

• Expertise in Test case design and test case execution.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a QA Manual Tester

• Experience in Manual testing dashboards and chatbots shall be a plus.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or college diploma in QA Testing

• Keen attention to detail

• Managing the solving of problems concerning the test automation infrastructure
• Understand and maintain Test Automation Frameworks.
• Follow the coding standards and code walk through.
• Maintain Automation Standards and Processes documentation.

Our Expectations:  

• Bachelor of Engineering or Masters in software engineering / Informatics or equivalent. 
• Experience in device/embedded software testing 
• Experience of working in an Agile environment, testing user stories, and participating in SCRUM, sprint planning, and backlog review activities. 
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in verbal and written English. 
• Experience working with CI tools (ideally TeamCity). 

Nice to have / Ideally:  

• ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certified tester. 
• Experience in medical device quality standards such as IEC 62304, ISO 13485, and ISO 14971. 
• 3-6 years of experience in testing medical device applications. 
• Experience working with teams across the globe. 
• Experience testing end-to-end applications that interact with hardware devices. 
• Experience in the Cybersecurity domain 

• Experience in testing web-based applications.
• Experience in developing test cases and scenarios based on PRD/BRD/Use cases.
• Experience in testing Web Services
• Logging defects/bugs in the defect management tool
• Tracking the defects and retire them with appropriate test execution
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Tools and Technologies:

• Should have strong knowledge and hands-on with SQL, Java, and Selenium
• Good/Fair knowledge of angular framework and Protractor with JavaScript/TypeScript
• Hands-on with any of the defect management tools like Jira/Bugzilla
• Knowledge of J-meter, Soap UI is a plus
