Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data migration initiatives, including assessment, planning, mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
• Define and implement data governance frameworks, standards, policies, and processes.
• Design and manage data solutions using Microsoft Azure Data Services.
• Lead development of BI dashboards, reports, KPIs, and analytics solutions.
• Work with business and technical stakeholders to understand reporting and data requirements.
• Develop and maintain data models, data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and reporting architecture.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, integrity, security, and compliance throughout migration and reporting processes.
• Identify data risks, dependencies, gaps, and migration challenges and drive their resolution.
• Establish data validation and reconciliation mechanisms to ensure migration accuracy.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to data engineers, BI developers, and other project team members.
• Collaborate with application, cloud, infrastructure, and business teams during project implementation.
• Monitor data migration and BI deliverables against project timelines, quality standards, and business objectives.
• Prepare technical documentation, data dictionaries, mapping documents, governance guidelines, and project reports.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in data, migration, BI, or related technology roles.
• Strong experience working on software/IT projects and managing data-related workstreams.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Data Services.
• Strong understanding of data migration methodologies, ETL/ELT, data transformation, and reconciliation.
• Experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, Master Data, Metadata Management, and Data Security.
• Strong experience with BI reporting and dashboard development.
• Good understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with Power BI and data visualization is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of data architecture and data lifecycle management.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Role Overview-You will be the architectural backbone of Timble’s AI engine. This role requires a strong backend & systems mindset with exposure to AI/ML systems—balancing the development of high-accuracy fraud detection models with the scalable infrastructure required to run them.

Key Responsibilities

·      Engineering Leadership: Lead the development of our core AI products, including Bank Statement Analyzers, Face Match technology, and Electronic Residence Physical Verification (ERPV).

·      AI/ML Architecture: Design and deploy AI/ML-driven systems for document intelligence, fraud detection, and automation to enhance real-time intelligence.

·      Delivery Ownership: Take end-to-end ownership of features and ensure timely delivery in high-stakes production environments.

·      System Design & Scalability: Design and optimize high-throughput, low-latency API systems capable of handling real-world production loads across our 30+ high-quality APIs.

·      Hands-on Contribution: Remain hands-on with code when required, especially for critical modules, core architecture decisions, and troubleshooting.

·      Practical AI Application: Work on integrating and scaling AI/ML components in production. You must have the ability to apply complex AI solutions to solve real-world business problems.

·      Technical Strategy & InfoSec: Oversee Information Security protocols to protect proprietary financial data. Lead IP-related technical work, including patent-pending research for our authentication engines.

·      Mentorship: Act as the technical North Star for SDE-1 and SDE-2 engineers, instilling a culture of clean code, scalability, and cloud economics.

What We’re Looking For

·      Technical Expertise: Strong backend engineering expertise (Python or similar), with experience in building and maintaining scalable systems. Exposure to ML frameworks (TensorFlow/PyTorch) is a plus.

·      Domain Knowledge: Previous experience in Fintech, Cybersecurity, or BFSI tech stacks is highly preferred.

·      Infrastructure Skills: Solid experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) and maintaining high availability.

● Model Fine-Tuning: Lead the fine-tuning process for large language models, leveraging both open-source solutions (e.g., LORA, LLAMA 2/3) and proprietary models like GPT 3.5/4.0 to address specific business needs.

● Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG): Design and optimize advanced RAG systems,implementing efficient methods for chunking, indexing, and managing complex document formats, such as PDFs.

Responsibilities:

• Software Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, designers, and product managers, to design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails.
• Feature Development: Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and technical design to implementation and deployment of new features and enhancements.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices and coding standards. Perform code reviews to ensure code quality across the team.
• Database Management: Work with relational databases (e. g., PostgreSQL) to design, optimize, and maintain database schemas and queries.
• Bug Fixing and Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve software defects and performance issues. Conduct debugging and troubleshooting as needed.
• Testing: Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure the reliability and stability of the applications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Ruby on Rails developer, typically 3-8 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Ruby, Rails, and associated libraries and frameworks.
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with version control systems (e. g., Git) and collaboration tools (e. g., GitHub or GitLab).
• Knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration of third-party services.

Role Objectives 

• Participate in complex design and software development tasks within an appropriate schedule, task, and quality guidelines set in conjunction with the Senior Platform Specialists and Platform Architect  

• Hands-on development and implementation of solutions including configuration of our platform components and custom development 

• Tasks associated with testing and documentation of solution implemented 

Academic Qualification
B.E/B.Tech/MCA in computer science Engineering or a related field. 

Experience Profile  

4 to 10 years of experience in development or platform implementations. 

Required Technical Skillset for Java Development
Java/J2EE, HTML, CSS. JavaScript, SQL, Servlets, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Web services, SOAP, Restful API

Good to have:
Knowledge in Liferay themes & hooks, Ant, Maven, CI/CD, AWS/GCP/Azure, Docker experience 

Must be capable of coding and unit testing their own code
Team player with good interpersonal skills
Should have strong analytical skills                                                     
Good communication skills
Capable of juggling several priorities and delivering results on time in a high-pressure, dynamic environment.

Informatica PowerCenter (9x ,10.2) : Minimum 2+ years experience

SQL / PLSQL: Understanding of SQL procedure. Able to convert procedures into Informatica mapping.

Good to have- Advantage if you have knowledge of Windows Batch Script.
