Frontend Developer Intern

Job Overview:

We are looking for a passionate and skilled React.js Developer with 1-2 years of experience in front-end development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using React.js while ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React.js.
• Collaborate with designers and backend developers to implement UI/UX designs.
• Optimize components for maximum performance across multiple devices and browsers.
• Work with RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Troubleshoot and debug application issues.
• Maintain clean, scalable, and reusable code following industry best practices.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including scrum meetings and sprint planning.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS.
• Knowledge of Redux, Context API, or other state management libraries.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
• Familiarity with Git version control.
• Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Basic knowledge of Node.js (preferred but not mandatory)

Proficient in ReactJS and its core principles such as state management, hooks, and component lifecycle

Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies

Experience with Redux or other state management libraries

Knowledge of modern front-end builds tools such as Webpack and Babel

Understanding of REST APIs and experience integrating them with a ReactJS front-end

Familiarity with Git and version control practices

Responsibilities:

Developing user-facing features using ReactJS

Building reusable UI components and libraries for future use

Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

Optimizing components for maximum performance across a wide range of devices and browsers

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems

Participating in code reviews and ensuring code quality through testing and debugging

Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to ReactJS.

-UI developer should be highly skilled in Web Design and implementation with a passion for building great web-based user interfaces.
-Elegantly implement page designs in standards-compliant dynamic XHTML and CSS.
-Strong knowledge of internet/web technologies and languages such as javascript, jQuery, DHTML,   CSS/XHTML, XML, JSON API.
-Advocating Web interaction design best practices with a focus on consistency and usability.
-Create rapid prototypes of interfaces to be used as a blueprint for content and technical development.
-Work closely with back-end developers to find ways to push the limits of existing Web technology in service of creating the best possible user experience.
-Ensuring pages are programmed error-free, cross-browser, cross-platform, and optimized for download performance.

• A relevant diploma in a related field.
• Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other visual design tools.
• Proficiency in front-end development web programming languages such as HTML and CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript.
• Good understanding of content management systems.
• Good understanding of search engine optimization principles.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
• Excellent visual design skills.
• Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies.
• Creative and open to new ideas.
• Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques.
• Excellent communication skills.

Primary purpose of the role:

Front end development of websites and applications using CSS3, HTML5, jQuery and other skills to produce clean, functional and web compliant projects to be handed over to Back End Developers to be further worked on as well as CSS bug fixes post Back End development

Major responsibilities & deliverables:

1. Great skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and cross browser implementations.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
3. Experience and knowledge about the cool stuff in HTML5 and CSS3.
4. At Least knowledge of one JavaScript framework such as VueJs, ReactJs, AngularJs
5. Proficiency and familiarity with CSS/JavaScript frameworks and utilities such as HTML5 Boilerplate, jQuery, Modernizr, Firebug, JSLint, minification, and others. 
6. Taking PSD files from designers, slicing and/or recreating elements via CSS to match the design perfectly
7. Ability to make modifications to libraries in jQuery as per requirement of a project
8. Extensive knowledge of fonts, embedding from third parties like Google, Typekit & Font Deck etc.
9. Knowledge of optimizing CSS/JavaScript performance, by coding practices and tools.
10. Passion and follow through for their work. Excited and curious about learning new technology, as well as the sharing of ideas. Exceptional collaboration, listening, written, and verbal communication. Able to own individual projects as well as the ability to work within a team.
11. Awareness of current design trends in the visual arts, working knowledge of the latest computer packages and an understanding time limits which can impact on the design.
12. Knowledge of GIT or any other version control software.
