Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Java Developer with strong expertise in backend and frontend technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, JSP, and modern frontend frameworks, along with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with global teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications.
• Implement best practices and design patterns for clean, maintainable code.
• Work with Spring Boot, JSP, and MySQL to build robust backend services.
• Develop responsive UI components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
• Optimize database queries and ensure efficient performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and deployment activities.
• Work in a U.K shift to support international clients and project requirements.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.

About the job

Must-Have Skills

• 5+ years in data architecture / data engineering, with at least 2+ years in an architect or lead capacity
• Strong SQL — advanced query optimization, indexing, partitioning strategies
• Data modeling — dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schema), normalization/denormalization tradeoffs, entity relationship design
• Cloud data platforms — hands-on with AWS (Redshift, S3, Glue), Azure (Synapse, Data Factory), or GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow)
• Big data ecosystems — Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka for large-scale/streaming data
• Data warehousing — Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Databricks
• ETL/ELT pipeline design — Airflow, dbt, Fivetran, or similar orchestration tools
• Data governance & security — data lineage, access control, compliance (GDPR/SOC2), master data management

Strongly Preferred

• Experience architecting systems supporting ML/AI pipelines (feature stores, vector DBs, real-time inference data flows)
• Programming — Python or Scala for pipeline development
• API/microservices architecture exposure — understanding how data systems integrate with application layers
• Experience with data mesh / data lake house architectures
• Prior experience presenting architecture decisions to leadership/stakeholders

Responsibilities

Your top responsibility is to assist the sales team in qualifying prospects and developing a pipeline to bring revenue to the company. Engage with inbound leads and generate outbound leads. You will have to do qualification calls, inside sales calls, cold calls, live demos, solution advisory, client visits and everything else required to sell. You will have to master the software’s value propositions, features and common problems of prospects. You will need to understand prospects’ businesses and problems so as to solve those using out software.
