The Opportunity: 

As the Engineering Manager, you will own, drive product engineering projects / programs and deliver to global enterprise customers. You will be part of the Digit88 leadership team to drive engineering and business excellence, build high performance teams, develop innovative culture to delight customers. You will provide thought leadership in technology and engineering practices to customers as well as the teams. 

What you'll do:

• Work closely with product managers to finalize and translate requirements into actionable plans for the engineering team.
• Guide the engineering team in architecture, design, and development of innovative solutions.
• Unblock engineers during development and provide technical support and mentorship as needed.
• Lead and manage a team of 10 senior engineers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Define and monitor development timelines to ensure conformance and timely delivery of projects.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and best practices across the engineering team.
• Collaborate with US product management and senior management to align engineering efforts with business goals.
• Ensure high-quality software delivery by implementing and upholding best practices in coding, testing, and DevOps.
• Maintain strong communication with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and senior management.

What makes you a great fit:

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Senior Angular Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of front-end development and the Angular framework to deliver high-quality, responsive, and user-friendly web applications. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving web applications while collaborating with backend developers and UI/UX designers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using Angular framework.
• Design and implement user interfaces (UI) using Angular components, services, and modules.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure the technical feasibility of designs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Integrate with RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, and debugging.
• Work in an Agile environment and collaborate with team members on project requirements and timelines.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and other application concerns.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Angular 2+ (preferably Angular 9 or above).
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with RxJS and reactive programming concepts.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services.
• Experience with Angular CLI and Node Package Manager (npm).
• Proficiency in using version control systems, such as Git.
• Familiarity with CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Material Design) and CSS preprocessors like SCSS or LESS.
• Experience with Unit Testing (Jasmine, Karma) and End-to-End Testing (Protractor, Cypress).
• Familiarity with state management libraries (NgRx, Akita) is a plus.
• Basic understanding of backend technologies Node.js is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-7 years of experience working as a front-end or Angular developer.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have):

• Experience with Progressive Web Apps (PWA) and mobile-first development.
• Knowledge of Cloud services (AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Knowledge of build tools like Webpack or Gulp.

• Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from conceptualization to delivery, for next-gen AI solutions on our codeless platform
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, to define product requirements and roadmap.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in the AI and software industry.
• Prioritize features and enhancements based on business objectives, user feedback, and technical feasibility.
