What You'll Do

• You will be responsible for identifying prospects and closing new business. You should have experience in sales or business development and ideally you should be able to come in with a rolodex of contacts within the industry.
• Understand the client's business goals, anticipate future needs and help determine ideal solutions. Manage expectations at all levels and attend and direct client meetings. Demonstrate a consultative approach in addressing client needs.
• Business Development at GeekMindz is not only about closing new business, but managing relationships, knowing the numbers /systems and representing GeekMindz at industry events.
• Work cross functionally with internal teams to ensure client's success.
• Provide Sales management with detailed pipeline reports and market analysis.

About You

• 1.5+ years in sales (inside / outside / direct) experience, preferably in IT Services & Products.
• You should have experience with working in Web, mobile, Data Analytics services and have contacts/clients in similar verticals.
• Organized and methodical, with phenomenal communication skills and a consultative approach in addressing client needs.
• Self-motivated with strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Understands market trends, analytics, customer needs and competitive intelligence data
• Comfortable managing through change and working in a fast-paced environment

We are looking for a Node.js Professional responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well. Responsibilities • Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic • Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code • Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performing applications • Implementation of security and data protection • Integration of data storage solutions (may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.) Skills And Qualifications • Strong proficiency with JavaScript • Strong working knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it such as Express. • Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds • Good understanding of server-side templating languages such as Jade, EJS, etc • Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors such as Stylus, Less, etc • Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, CSS3 and Angular • Understanding accessibility and security compliance • User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments • Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system • Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application • Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform • Creating database schemes that represent and support business processes • Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git • Professional Competency: Degree/Diploma in Computer Science. Exceptional coding skills in JavaScript (both front-end and backend)
Advanced proficiency in MEAN Stack (NodeJS, MongoDB, Express, Angular JS)
Proficiency and hands-on experience with one or more of the following: Backbone / Knockout JS / Ember JS / React JS
Knowledge of JQuery would be an added advantage
Thorough knowledge of software development best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build process, continuous integration and continuous delivery
Thorough knowledge of Node.JS, MongoDB, Angular JS, Express JS and JavaScript
Ability to plan core architecture, and to enhance it from time to time
Strong analytical mindset to derive actionable analytics from data
