The Role

This role is anything but conventional- It is an opportunity to define and execute our plans and make an impact on the development of millions of children.

As our tech lead, you will work closely with the founders to crystallize and own the product roadmap and then, to bring the product vision to life through simple, elegant design & code that delights users.

You will be the key architect of the product and will help the engineering team build and maintain the product across mobile and web. 

You will own development and delivery of the code- including analysis, optimization and debugging.

Key Skills

3-6 years of experience with backend and frontend web-based application development

2+ years of experience with React / Redux + HTML/CSS

2+ years of experience with Python

Have some experience with databases (SQL, MongoDB)

Have created meaningful APIs and models that are flexible and scalable

Job Description

• Full stack e-commerce developer is responsible for writing reusable, testable, and efficient code

• Fullstack developer should have the ability to translate Wireframes and PSD Designs into functional web apps.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Understanding of business requirements and the process of translating them into well-engineered and integrated technical solutions and reusable components.

- Write elegant and clean code as a PHP Developer.

- Good knowledge of Core PHP concepts, laravel and WordPress. Should have knowledge of any one framework like CodeIgniter.

Must use GitHub. Co-pilot AI completion can be paid for during the duration of your employment. We prefer co-pilot users as they write tests much faster, and with better coverage. Additionally they produce very uniform, conventional rails code.

The candidate will work in a team to build Ongil's contextual insights generation platfor. The responsibilities will also include in enabling the integration of the database to enterprise's data pipelines and databases. The work would involve close collaboration with data scientists and developing an understanding of underlying algorithms that we deploy.

ReactJS Developer

- 3-10 years experience

- Strong React, TypeScript, JavaScript

- Experience with NextJS and Material UI

- Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)

- Demonstrated mastery of HTML, CSS & JavaScript (ES6+)

- Good understanding of HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, Bootstrap3/4, JSON & AJAX.

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
Backend server development & support with Node, JavaScript, JSON, REST, NoSQL, Cloud Native technologies like Docker & Registry, Kubernetes & Helm

- Skilled in data structures, algorithms, modularization, OOP, microservices, and design patterns

- Skilled in coding best practices using containers, packaging (npm, yarn), agility (with Git, Jira), unit testing (JEST), CI/CD (Jenkins), debugging, and ensuring high productivity & quality

- Exposure to security (OIDC/JWT, RBAC, monitoring, auditing)

- Good with learning, problem solving & innovation

• Mandatory 5+ years hands-on experience on core Javascript, NodeJs and REST services.

Responsibilities:

• Make changes in the existing code base of talent marketplace and implement new features.
• Collaborate with stakeholders that are involved in product design (marketing specialist and product manager).
• Report the progress to other stakeholders.
• Do bug fixes and push the source codes to the live server.
• Be responsive to change requests and feature requests
