Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Growth Marketing Manager at Brown Living. The Growth Marketing Manager will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as marketing analytics, project management, web analytics, and marketing automation. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute growth strategies that drive user acquisition and retention. The role requires strong analytical and project management skills to optimize marketing campaigns and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

● Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth for Brown Living across B2B & B2C verticals.

● Analyze business operations, trends, costs, and obligations to project future revenues and provide strategic advice.

● Lead and execute lead generation and conversion campaigns to optimize sales funnel performance.

● Monitor and optimize ecommerce metrics for the platform, focusing on both topline and bottomline growth.

● Optimize user flows through conversion-focused campaigns to enhance

customer acquisition and retention.

● Report regularly to management on marketing operations, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

● Conduct surveys to identify growth opportunities and develop solutions to business problems.

● Represent the company at business events, managing business development, sales, and marketing activities.

● Collaborate with agencies and vendors to execute business growth activities effectively.

● Coordinate with customer accounts and suppliers to ensure clear

communication and alignment with organizational goals.

● Work closely with the founding team to identify growth opportunities aligned with financial, social, and environmental objectives.

● Provide insights for tech developments to support overall platform growth.

● Maintain and analyze leads and queries, preparing periodic reports for

management.

● Revenue Growth: Achieve targeted revenue growth through strategic marketing initiatives and campaigns.

● Lead Generation and Conversion: Drive lead generation and optimize conversion rates to maximize sales.

● E-commerce Metrics: Improve e-commerce metrics to enhance platform

performance and profitability.

● Customer Success: Enhance customer satisfaction and retention metrics through effective marketing strategies.

● Business Development: Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities across B2B & B2C segments.

● Event Management: Successfully organize and participate in sales & marketing events to promote brand awareness and generate leads.

● Agency Coordination: Ensure seamless collaboration with agencies and vendors for business growth activities.

● Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear communication with stakeholders to align activities with organizational objectives.

● Innovation and Strategy: Provide innovative insights and strategic

recommendations to support long-term business growth.

● Tech Insights: Offer valuable insights for tech developments to support platform growth and optimization.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

● Experience in project management

● Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team

● Experience in the sustainable living or environmental industry is a plus.

● Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).

● Proven 2-3 experience in marketing and business growth roles, preferably in a startup environment.

● Strong analytical skills (Growth Marketing Analytics skills) with the ability to interpret data and trends to drive business decisions.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with

stakeholders.

● Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for marketing and growth.

● Proficiency in web analytics, digital marketing techniques and tools.

● Knowledge of marketing automation

• Good Experience in C# and SQL Server.

•  6+ years of web UI development experience including 4+ years of deep, hands on experience in building robust, highly reusable and responsive web applications using HTML, CSS3, SVG, React, Redux, Thunk ecosystem
• Great problem-solving skills with solid data structures and algorithms knowledge
• Strong ability to translate the design/wireframes into reusable micro components
• Experience of leading, coaching and mentoring junior developers with good delegation and time-management skills
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles and has extensively worked with Redux, Thunk, Axios etc

Mentor To Go is an android and web based platform to help students improve their work readiness through self-learning sessions, personalised mentorship provided by mentor professionals from a range of careers, and work experience opportunities.

The technology platform implements  functionalities such as: screening surveys of mentors and mentees, training content for mentors, matching through an algorithm, and mentorship through the delivery of structured activities. 

The application technology architecture comprises of the following:

o   a Python Django web application with NGinx and Gunicorn

o   PostgreSQL database

o   A React Android and Web app

o   Rest APIs which interact between the Android app and the Django webserver

Minimum requirements

• 3+ years experience with the development of applications for Android, iOS and  web preferably using React Native/ReactJS

• Experience with a complete mobile software development life cycle
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Familiarity with version control software such as Git
