Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Apache Kafka and backend systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Java (8/11+), Spring Boot, and building scalable, real-time data pipelines using Kafka.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Design and implement Kafka-based messaging and streaming solutions
• Optimize Kafka performance (topics, partitions, consumers)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable microservices
• Ensure code quality and maintain best practices in a distributed environment

Required Skills:

• 6+ years in Java development
• 3+ years of hands-on Kafka experience (producers, consumers, streams)
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices
• Familiarity with Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, and stream processing
• Experience with containerization (Docker), CI/CD, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications while ensuring performance, security, and code quality.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.

• Stay updated with emerging trends, tools, and technologies in the Java ecosystem.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Core Java (Java 8/11/17).
• Experience with frameworks such as Spring / Spring Boot / Hibernate.
• Good knowledge of REST APIs, Microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
• Understanding of multithreading, collections, and design patterns.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and build tools (Maven/Gradle).
• Solid problem-solving skills and ability to work in an Agile environment.

Good to Have:

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, implement and maintain application software
• Take part in software and architectural development activities
• Debug application issues and helping support respond to client queries
• Participate in application development meetings
• Provide accurate estimates, clearly communicate status of tasks and identification of risks
• Commitment to accomplishing the task at hand and identify the fastest and most reliable way to solve a problem
• Performance tuning of application code at different service levels
• Interact with customers of the application and help address issues reported

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience with Java and Spring frameworks.
• Having good knowledge in a scripting language like python is a plus
• Experience with Spring and Hibernate/ ORM
• Understanding of relational database and normal forms
• Understanding of NoSQL / RDBMS (Mongo or Postgres) and ability to write optimized and high performing queries
• Strong understanding of Java concurrency, concurrency patterns, experience building thread safe code
• Experience building RESTful web services
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and time management skills
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Experience with GIT as a VCS, Unix based systems
• Experience with NoSQL Database is a plus

• 7+ years of experience in IT
• Demonstrable expertise in Golang development services, including a deep understanding of its syntax, advanced features, and standard library
• Familiarity with Go routines and channel patterns, as well as experience in writing high-performance Go code
• Solid grasp of web development fundamentals, including HTTP/HTTPS protocols, RESTful API design, data structures, and WebSockets
• Experience with designing and implementing microservices in Go and an understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience in managing medium to large scale application project from beginning to end, with skills in requirement study and functional/detail design, QA, testing, and software change/version control management is advantageous

• Expertise in application development, and familiar with C#, Asp.net, jQuery, Webservice (REST/SOAP), Microservice, WCF
• Basic Equities Trading product knowledge is expected
• Familiarity with Equities/trade processing experience is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skill is a must
• Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines.
• High sense of ownership of task assigned, deliver applications with high quality and efficiency.
• Good communication, inter-personnel skills is required
• Team player with strong interpersonal and communications skills
• Looking for 4 – 8 years’ experience in .NET

You will be working right away with other senior Laravel Developers that know the products. You will be learning the projects, and helping them clean up and polish our tech better. We are a product based company.
