Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant with 5to10 years of experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing accurate financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Record Management: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
• General Ledger Maintenance: Record and reconcile journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable in the general ledger.
• Tax Compliance: Assist in calculating and preparing tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Audits and Reconciliation: Conduct internal audits, reconcile bank statements, and resolve discrepancies in financial records.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 5to10 years of professional experience in accounting or a related role.
• Certifications: CPA, CMA, or progress toward these certifications is a plus.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero, or similar).
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
• Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and presenting financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans for the e-commerce gift card product, covering functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Manual Testing: Conduct thorough manual testing when necessary, focusing on critical paths, edge cases, and user experience.
• Bug Management: Identify, document, and track bugs using JIRA or similar tools. Work with the development team to prioritize and resolve issues.
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and UX/UI designers, to understand requirements, provide feedback, and ensure product quality.
• Performance Testing: Lead efforts to test the scalability and performance of the gift card platform, ensuring it can handle high volumes of transactions and users.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test reports.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest QA tools, trends, and best practices. Continuously seek to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of QA processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize full-stack applications using modern technologies.

• Proficiency in frontend technologies like React.js, Next.js, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Practical knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and IAM.
• Experience with database schema design and management using MongoDB.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a logical and analytical approach to challenges.
• Familiarity with Git for version control and collaboration in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to contribute effectively in a collaborative setting.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to GraphQL for API development.
• Knowledge of Docker and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with Serverless Framework for deploying cloud-native applications.
• Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.

Job Responsibilities:

·       Assist the Security Manager in developing and implementing security policies and procedures.

·       Conduct regular security risk assessments and audits.

·       Monitor security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.

·       Respond to security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation.
