Brief:

We are pursuing a complex set of problems that involve building for an international audience and for an industry that has largely been service-centric. As a SDE at GradRight, you’ll bring an unmatched customer-centricity to your work, with a focus on building for the long term and large scale.

You’ll contribute to frameworks that enable flexible/scalable customer journeys and tie them with institutional knowledge to help us build the best experiences for students and our partners.

• Responsibilities:Contribute to design discussions and decisions around building scalable and modular architecture
• Build clean, modular and scalable backend services
• Participate in sprint ceremonies and actively contribute to scaling the engineering organization from a process perspective
• Stay on top of the software engineering ecosystem and propose new technologies/methodologies that can be adopted
• Contribute to engineering hiring by conducting interviews
• Champion infrastructure as code mindset and encourage automation
• Manage and mentor a small team of junior engineers
• Requirements:At least 4 years experience as an SDE, building large scale services
• Extensive experience in at least one programming language and ability to write maintainable, scalable and unit-testable code
• Strong understanding of software design principles and patterns
• Excellent command over data structures and algorithms
• Passion for solving complex problems
• Good understanding of various database technologies with strong opinions around their use cases
• Experience with performance monitoring and scaling backend services
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems in general
• Experience with team management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good to have:Experience working with Node.js, MongoDB and Google Cloud
• Experience in CI/CD and cloud infrastructure management
• Worked on products that addressed an international audience

Who are we looking for?

This role would be part of the B2C sales function for our India / International Business Groups. He/she would drive the new customer acquisition, customer relationship management, Operations & reporting.

What should you do?

• New Customer Acquisition

• Conversion of leads received through various marketing channels

• Preparing short-­­term and long-­­term sales plan towards reaching the assigned goals

• Consistently achieve revenue targets in line with team/organizational objectives

• Managing pre-­­sales to post-­­sales support activities for the assigned products/geographies and ensuring the highest customer satisfaction

We are looking for a System Engineer who can manage requirements and data management in Rational Doors and Siemens Polarion. You will be part of a global development team with resources in China, Sweden and the US.

Responsibilities and tasks

1. Import of requirement specifications to DOORS module
   1. Create module structure according to written specification (e-mail, word, etc)
   2. Format: reqif, word, excel, pdf, csv
   3. Make adjustments to data required to be able to import to tool
   4. Review that the result is readable and possible to work with
2. Import of information to new or existing modules in DOORS
   1. Feedback of Compliance status from an excel compliance matrix to a module in DOORS
   2. Import requirements from one module to another based on baseline/filter…
   3. Import lists of items: Test cases, documents, etc in excel or csv to a module
   4. Provide guidance on format to information holder at client
3. Link information/attribute data from one module to others
   1. Status, test results, comment
   2. Link requirements according to information from the client in any given format
4. Export data and reports
   1. Assemble report based on data from one or several modules according to filters/baseline/written requests in any given format
   2. Export statistics from data in DOORS modules
5. Create filters in DOORS modules

Note: Polarion activities same as DOORS activities, but process, results and structure may vary

Requirements – Must list (short, and real must, no order)

• =>10 years of overall experience in Automotive Industry
• Having requirement management experience in the automotive industry.
• =>3 years of experience in Rational Doors as user
• Knowledge in Siemens Polarion, working knowledge is a plus
• Experience in offshore delivery for more than 7 years
• Able to lead a team of 3 to 5 people and manage temporary additions to team
• Having working knowledge in ASPICE and handling requirements according to ASPICE L2
• Experience in setting up offshore delivery that best fits the expectations of the customer
• Experience in setting up quality processes and ways of working
• Experience in metrics management – propose, capture and share metrics with internal/ external stakeholders
• Good Communication skills in English

Requirements - Good to have list, strictly sorted in falling priority order

• Experience in DevOps framework of delivery
• Interest in learning new languages
• Handling requirements according to ASPICE L3
• Willingness in travel, travel to Sweden may be needed (approx. 1-2 per year)
