React Native Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Lead Mobile Developer to set the technical bar for our mobile engineering.

This is an individual contributor role: you lead through deep technical ownership and influence,

not people management. With 4-5+ years building and shipping production apps, you know

mobile inside out, from the widget tree to the platform internals, and you make the calls that

keep our apps fast, stable, and maintainable as they scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Own the technical direction of our mobile apps; make and document architecture decisions, and set the standards others build against.

• End-to-End Development: Lead the development of complex, high-quality applications for iOS and Android from a single Flutter codebase.

• Architecture & State Management: Design and implement scalable app architectures using industry-standard state management solutions (e.g. Bloc/Cubit, Riverpod, or Provider).

• Custom UI/UX: Translate Figma/Adobe XD designs into pixel-perfect, fluid, responsive UIs using Flutter's widget tree, including custom animations and complex layouts.

• Deep Mobile Expertise: Apply end-to-end knowledge of mobile functionality: lifecycle, navigation, push notifications, deep linking, permissions, background tasks, offline behavior, and app security.

• API & Integrations: Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs with robust data persistence and offline capabilities.

• Native Interoperability: Write platform-specific code via Method Channels to access native features when needed.

• Performance Optimization: Profile and optimize app performance, reducing jank, optimizing build methods, and managing memory.

• Release Management: Own the release process end to end, including builds and deployment to the App Store and Google Play.

• Mentorship: Raise the team's bar through code reviews, technical guidance, and sharing best practices, without formal people management.

Technical Requirements

• Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience building and shipping production mobile apps.

• Flutter: Strong, demonstrable Flutter and Dart expertise across real-world, production-grade apps.

• Full-Stack Mobile Knowledge: End-to-end command of mobile functionality and the in-and-out behaviors of the platform, not just the happy path.

• State Management: Expert-level understanding of at least one major state management library (Bloc or Riverpod preferred).

• Software Design: Strong grasp of SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, and Design Patterns.

• Testing: Proficiency in writing unit, widget, and integration tests to ensure app stability.

• Native Knowledge: Familiarity with native mobile development (Swift/Kotlin) is a significant plus.

• Tools: Proficient with Git, Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Cloud Messaging), and local databases like Hive or SQLite.

Soft Skills

• Problem Solver: You don't just find bugs; you identify the root cause and implement long-term fixes.

• Decision Maker: You weigh trade-offs and make sound technical calls, then bring the team along with clear reasoning.

• Collaborator: Ability to work closely with Product Managers and Designers in an Agile environment.

• Lifelong Learner: You stay up to date with the latest Flutter releases and the evolving Dart ecosystem.

• You will be building and shipping robust apps to Android/ iOS devices using a single codebase.
• You will be writing readable and clear code using Dart that will be extensively documented for future use and upgrades.
• You will be sharing feedback and brainstorming ideas with teams to improve the development process.
• Understand basic concepts of design for developing user friendly applications.
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies.

• Should have develop Native Mobile Applications.
• Should have worked on SQLite, Retrofit, Firebase etc.
• Must have knowledge working on Hybrid Applications.
• Additional advantage if worked of frameworks like React Native, Flutter etc.
• Advantage having working knowledge of Kotlin.
• Certification done is an additional advantage.
• Even candidate should have very good debugging skills.
• Clear about Object Oriented Programming Concepts.
• Must have knowledge of working with api's and working with databases.

We are looking for a React Native developer interested in building performant mobile apps on both the iOS and Android platforms. You will be responsible for architecting and building these applications, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure. Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required.

Responsibilities

• Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.
• Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
• Reach out to the open source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixesReact Native moves fast and often breaks things.
• Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
