The position requires strong problems solving skills, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused approach, the software support engineer will work closely with the developing team to resolve technical issues and bugs reported by customers
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of customer issues reported and see problems through to resolution
- Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to resolve customer issues
- Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
- Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers
- Ensure proper recording and closure of all issues
- Prepare accurate and timely reports
- Document knowledge in the form of knowledge base tech notes and articles
- Follow the SLA for issues with respect to the severity.

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive QA Engineer with 3–4 years of experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented and ready to take ownership of the product’s quality by actively contributing to testing strategies, writing automation scripts, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
This role is ideal for someone who is strong in manual testing and has experience writing automation test scripts, even if they are still building their understanding of complete automation frameworks. As part of their growth, we expect candidates to develop framework knowledge to eventually automate full test suites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute manual test cases based on requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Write automation test scripts for UI/API layers using tools and languages like Selenium, Java, Python, or JavaScript (any framework knowledge is welcome).
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA team members during Agile sprints.
- Prepare and maintain test documentation, including test cases, test reports, and checklists.
- Track and manage bugs and issues using tools such as JIRA or ClickUp.
- Perform API testing using Postman, REST clients, or similar tools.
- Participate in release processes, including preparing release notes and verifying successful deployments.
- Take ownership of testing and be willing to drive the QA process end-to-end, ensuring product quality at every stage.
- Perform cross-browser and platform testing, data validation, and backend checks using SQL.
- Contribute to the long-term improvement of QA processes and test coverage.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–4 years of hands-on experience in manual testing and writing automation scripts.
- Strong understanding of STLC, SDLC, Agile methodology, and the defect life cycle.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium or similar; ability to write automation scripts.
- Willingness to learn and gain experience in automation frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit, BDD frameworks, etc.).
- Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.
- Good knowledge of SQL for database-level testing.
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools like JIRA and ClickUp.
