Associate Consultant

About the Role

We are looking for a Python Developer with expertise in data synchronization (ETL & Reverse ETL), automation workflows, AI functionality, and connectivity to work directly with a customer in Peliqan. In this role, you will be responsible for building seamless integrations, enabling AI-driven functionality, and ensuring data flows smoothly across various systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data sync pipelines (ETL & Reverse ETL) to ensure seamless data transfer between platforms.
• Develop automation workflows to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Implement AI-driven functionality, including AI-powered analytics, automation, and decision-making capabilities.
• Build and enhance connectivity between different data sources, APIs, and enterprise applications.
• Work closely with the customer to understand their technical needs and design tailored solutions in Peliqan.
• Optimize performance of data integrations and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Ensure security and compliance in data handling and integrations.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Python and related libraries for data processing & automation.
• Expertise in ETL, Reverse ETL, and workflow automation tools.
• Experience working with APIs, data connectors, and integrations across various platforms.
• Familiarity with AI & machine learning concepts and their practical application in automation.
• Hands-on experience with Peliqan or similar integration/data automation platforms is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work directly with customers to define and implement solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in SQL, NoSQL databases, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Knowledge of data governance, security best practices, and performance optimization.
• Prior experience in customer-facing engineering roles.

• Overall, 4-5 years of experience
• At least 3 years of HTML/CSS development experience is required
• Must have solid working experience on HTML5, CSS3, XML
• Should be an expert on XPath/Regex expressions for complex website navigations
• Working knowledge on core JavaScript
• Experience of mentoring the junior team members will be desirable
• Must have good communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage a NestJS backend with a modular, scalable architecture that can easily handle real-time events and communication.
• Develop and maintain WebSocket services for real-time event-driven updates and ensure seamless communication across the system.
• Integrate RabbitMQ for reliable internal messaging, handling queues and ensuring event-driven workflows are efficient and fault-tolerant.
• Implement database management strategies using MongoDB, Redis, and Elasticsearch, ensuring efficient data handling, indexing, and optimization.
• Integrate with external APIs (JSON-RPC, XML-RPC, REST) to enhance system capabilities.
• Ensure high performance of the system by optimizing database queries, implementing caching strategies using Redis, and ensuring optimal indexing and data flow.
• Implement role-based authentication and authorization mechanisms using JWT, OAuth, and RBAC patterns within NestJS.
• Follow security best practices to ensure sensitive data is protected, credentials are stored securely, and the system is resilient to common vulnerabilities.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between different services and technologies.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Node.js and NestJS with TypeScript.
• Solid experience with MongoDB, Redis, and Elasticsearch for data storage and real-time data handling.
• In-depth knowledge of WebSockets and Socket.IO in NestJS Gateways, enabling real-time communication and updates.
• Experience with RabbitMQ for message queuing and asynchronous task handling.
• Strong understanding of authentication & authorization systems using JWT, OAuth, and RBAC (Role-Based Access Control).
• Expertise in optimizing APIs, including techniques for caching, improving database performance, and reducing latency.
• Familiar with API security best practices, including secure storage of credentials, encryption, and safeguarding sensitive data.

• Oversee the editing of all video content, ensuring it aligns with the creative vision and storytelling objectives.
• Manage the editing team, assigning projects, monitoring progress, and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Collaborate with Directors, Producers, and Motion Graphics Designers to create cohesive and engaging narratives.
• Maintain quality control on all output, ensuring that the final products meet the high standards expected by clients and stakeholders.
• Innovate and drive the adoption of new editing technologies and techniques to keep the agency at the forefront of the industry.

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
• Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
• Build page navigation buttons and search fields
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
• Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
• Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images
