About the Role

As a Community Intern at Newton School of Technology, you’ll be at the center of our applicants ecosystem — building engagement, nurturing conversations, and strengthening our brand presence across online channels. This role blends communication, creativity, and operational coordination, giving you hands-on experience in community building, student engagement, and online reputation management within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage actively with students across Telegram and other community platforms.
• Drive and moderate discussions — share updates, resources, and celebrate community milestones.
• Plan and execute virtual events, Q&A sessions, contests, and peer-learning initiatives.
• Collect and analyze student feedback to measure community health and engagement.
• Collaborate with academic, tech, and marketing teams to ensure consistent communication.
• Create and manage content calendars, including newsletters, polls, and community spotlights.
• Support onboarding and orientation for new students joining the community.
• Manage brand presence across public platforms — respond to Q&A and reviews on Quora, YouTube comments, Google reviews, Reddit, and other forums.
• Identify trends, recurring feedback, and opportunities to improve comms tone and responsiveness.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, HR, or Technology. With Experience in Content Writing/Copywriting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Organized, self-driven, and creative with strong problem-solving skills.

• Comfortable using tools like Notion, Canva, Slack, Google Workspace, and social platforms.

Position – I.T. Manager.

As an I.T. Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of I.T. related to retail store operations and our Corporate office. Along with your team, you will be responsible for improving and updating software and hardware systems. This role also requires developing and implementing IT policies and best practice guides for the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that retail systems are functional, recording accurate information and that data integrity is reflected in the relevant analytic reports.

• Configuring of new SaaS platforms and knowledge transfer to the relevant members on any new software or hardware platforms introduced in the Company.

• Running regular checks on network and data security.

• Developing in-house processes (SOP’s) for effective working.

All our IT infrastructure is on AWS Cloud Having platform services like: EC2, RDS, Route53, Docker, S3, EFS, ELB, etc. We deal with Few million requests coming to our servers every day, Few terabytes of data are crunched by the software we write. The system is high-performing and handles the shipment of a few million US dollars every day. DevOps CI-CD Pipeline automates the whole Build and Deployment process for the developers using Jenkins & Ansible. We also use Jenkins to run Test Automation Suite. The platform is written in Java 8, Sprint Boot, Hibernate, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Groovy, Grails. There are a few additional services you might find written in NodeJS, Python, Selenium, Cucumber, Junit Shell Scripts etc. We follow Scrum methodology and all our tasks are tracked on Jira. 

Expected Skillset:

Candidates having good experience with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Javascript, HTML, CSS, MYSQL will be preferred.
