About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on QA leader to own quality across our products. You'll set the QA strategy, build and scale our automation and testing infrastructure, and lead a growing team — while staying close enough to the work to dig into a tricky bug yourself. This is a high-ownership role for someone who wants to define how quality is done, not just execute test cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 5-6 backend engineers, ensuring high-quality code delivery, adherence to best practices, and timely project completion.
• Hands-on development using TypeScript, Node.Js, and NestJs to build robust and scalable backend systems.
• Proficient in managing databases PostgreSQL and MongoDB. Implement efficient data storage and retrieval strategies.
• Expertise in Elasticsearch
• Work with Neptune and Gremlin to handle complex data structures and relationships.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and maintain high-quality software.
• Work closely with frontend teams, designers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration and alignment with business goals.
• Plan, track, and report on project progress. Manage resources effectively to meet deadlines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Node.Js, PostgreSQL and JavaScript
• Strong experience in architecture and database design.
• Proven experience leading a team of engineers.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proven experience in scaling backend.

Technical Competency:

• Writing server-side web application logic, back-end components, connect the application with other web services & support the front-end developers.

• Experience in developing high-end web applications in Javascript Frameworks (AngularJS/ReactJS/VueJS) along with API building will be considered as an advantage but not necessary.

• Ability to perform UI/backend tests to optimize performance
