Software Engineer

The Role

We are looking for a full stack engineer to join our team. We ideally hire engineers who are comfortable across the full stack, but

we know you will have a preference about being on the front-end or back-end. As long as you're happy to work on both sets of

tasks – you should carry on reading!

Our Technology

• Back-end: C#, ASP.NET, Web API, MVC, Entity Framework

• Database: SQL Server. Knowledge of non-SQL databases is a plus

• Cloud: Microsoft Azure, AWS

Responsibilities

• Design of the overall architecture of the web application

• Implementation of a robust set of services and APIs to power the web application

• Building reusable code and libraries for future use

• Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability

• Implementation of security and data protection

• Translation of UI/UX wireframesto visual elements

• Integration of the front-end and back-end aspects of the web application

Additiontionalresponsibilitiesfor Project Lead

• Active participation in design\build cycle of the software engineering life cycle (prototyping, architecture, detailed design,

development, testing and deployment).

• Providing expertise in technical analysis and solving technical issues during project delivery.

• Code reviews, test case reviews and ensure code developed meets the requirements.

• Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product

direction, visuals and experience.

• Requirement gathering and understanding, analyze and convert functional requirements into concrete technical tasks and able

to provide reasonable effort estimates

• Mentor and develop skills of junior software engineers in the team.

Tech Skills and Qualifications

• Contract Length : 1 year

• Software Engineering Degree with 3-5 years of experience.

• Expert knowledge of JavaScript and Node.js, good understanding of Angular and JavaScript testing frameworks (such as Jest,

Mocha etc.)

• Good understanding of Cloud Native architecture, containerisation, Docker, Microsoft Azure/AWS, CI/CD, and DevOps

culture.

• Knowledge of cloud-based SaaS applications/architecture.

• Practical experience in the use of leading engineering practices and principles.

• Practical experience of building robust solutions at large scale.

• Appreciation for functions of Product and Design, experience working in cross-functional teams.

• Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms (such as mobile vs. desktop), and optimizing output to

match the specific platform.

Job Description:

• Good understanding of PHP and Object-oriented programming paradigm.
• Able to understand project requirement and handle projects independently.
• Strong learning capability.
• Having a good knowledge of JQuery.
• Framework experience would be beneficial.
• Should be comfortable to work with the team.
• Should be comfortable with work on any MVC-based framework.

Skills required:

• Sound knowledge of PHP,MySQL, Jquery, etc.
• Able to understand project requirement and handle projects independently.
• Strong learning capability.
• Contribute in all phases of the development.
• Knowledge of PHP/Codeigniter will be preferred.
• Basic Knowledge of JavaScript, Web Services.

Front End developers

• Angular.JS experience
• MongoDB query and aggregation experience (not a database administrator)
• GraphQL experience
• Node.JS and Typescript experience
• CSS and SCSS experience
• CI/CD experience with GitHub actions

Backend Developers:

• Software development experience, one of Python (preferred) or Node.JS/Typescript)
• Experience with Messaging architectures - RabbitMQ (preference) or Kafka
• Experience with docker-containers 
• Experience with Apache NiFi (valued but not necessary)
• Experience with designing or implementing horizontally scalable solutions
• Experience working with RESTful APIs
• CI/CD experience with GitHub actions
• Experience with Azure cloud

Technical Skills & Competencies: Mandatory:

Web Development – HTML, CSS, JavaScript

Frameworks – ReactJS/AngularJS

Server-side development – Python/Django/Node.js

Database: SQL or NoSQL Databases (SQL Server/ MongoDB)

API Design concepts and Development of RESTful web services

Preferable:

• Familiarity with the Development of reusable frameworks, libraries to be used by multiple development teams
• Familiarity with cloud-native application architecture patterns
• Hands-on experience on project management tools like Jira
• Experience using DevOps Tools for CI/CD
• Conversant with agile methodologies

Roles & Responsibilities

• Work independently or in a small team setup
• Manage a team of highly skilled Frontend/Full Stack and Backend developers
• Creating, executing, and maintaining project plans including activity definition, sequence, dependencies, work effort, duration, and resource requirements
• Work with the technical team, communicating requirements and ensuring all product development meets the goals of the project and overall business and strategic goals
• Project management including release management, add-on compatibility reporting, updating documentations
• Assist in other ad-hoc or administrative tasks as part of daily/routine business activities
• Work with product technical architects to design new products or enhancements. Take part in system development including analysis, coding, and testing
• Performs design and code reviews with senior technical staff
• Act like the person everyone turns to resolve tough technical problems
• Work closely with other teams/vendors to connect front-end components with the other (often third-party) web and data services and support the back-end developers by integrating their work with the application
• Mentors team on proper standards/techniques to improve their accuracy and efficiency
• Performs the unit testing, system integration testing and assist with user acceptance testing
• Articulates business requirements in sufficient detail such that a technical solution can be designed and engineered
• Develops technical understanding of how the data flows from various source
• Provide ongoing support to applications used within the organization

Requirement

• 5+ years of experience in product development, with 2+ years of experience in a leadership role in current organization
• Reliable, self-motivated, and self-disciplined individual capable of planning and executing multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional debugging skills and strong experience with performance tuning
• Excellent technical, analytical, and organizational skills
• Good range of hands-on technical experience
• Expert knowledge in Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Expert understanding of Node.js and JavaScript
• Familiarity with code revisioning and repo maintenance on Git, code profiling and auditing

REQUIREMENTS:

Location: Bangalore / Mysore

Role: Java Development

Experience:4-10 yrs

Education:

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject

Skills:

• 4+ years of software development experience using traditional software development life cycle methodologies (covering requirements, design, development, testing and Implementation of n-tier architecture)
• Extensive experience with object-oriented software development methodologies and practices. Strong in following technologies
• OOAD/OOPS/UML, Design Patterns, MVC, Spring, Hibernate, Java, J2EE
• UI technologies AngularJS, HTML5, CSS3, java script library, Ajax and other UI frameworks
• Exposure to component model design, SOA, open sources framework/tools
• Web Services, JMS, XML, SQL& Oracle
• Must have exposed with Test Driven Development/Re-factoring ideas/ Domain driven design patterns/continuous integration/Build Automation / Data-Mapper framework/Mocks.

Competencies:

• Experience in developing platforms or frameworks, components
• Excellent knowledge of the open source software/ tools/ technologies

Personal Traits:

• Strong comprehension, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent Communication skills (written & verbal) are mandatory

• Contribute towards right design and development of multi-tiered, distributed architecture, scalable applications in a client-server / web environment
