SAP Controlling Analyst

JOB OVERVIEW

The Principal Analyst, SAP Controlling will be the functional lead for retail processes and capabilities and be an advocate for both business and technology decisions within our global IT organization.

This position is responsible for the design and management of business system solutions for Callaway Golf. We leverage ECC and SAP S/4. The incumbent will partner with corporate IT, business leaders and stakeholders to identify solutions to business needs, leveraging technology to add value to the company. 

Must have superior business relationship skills and functional knowledge with change management experience. Our company is going through a technology evolution and this role will be key to many of these initiatives. This role will need to be a strong team leader who can develop their own resources while building strong cross-team collaboration and solutions.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide solutions for business needs in all areas of the company.
• Coordinate with corporate IT, vendors and business users on project deliverables
• Manage the design, development and implementation of global business solutions.
• Design solutions with innovation and ensuring the ability to deliver value over time.
• Manage the design for a matrix of plants and retail location and the related inventory movements
• Responsible to provide global visibility, collaboration, and analytics to business leaders.
• Establish, grow, and enhance collaborative relationships with regional business leads.

Role & Responsibilities

We are looking for a hands-on AWS Cloud Engineer to support day-to-day cloud operations, automation, and reliability of AWS environments. This role works closely with the Cloud Operations Lead, DevOps, Security, and Application teams to ensure stable, secure, and cost-effective cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities-

• Operate and support AWS production environments across multiple accounts
• Manage infrastructure using Terraform and support CI/CD pipelines
• Support Amazon EKS clusters, upgrades, scaling, and troubleshooting
• Build and manage Docker images and push to Amazon ECR
• Monitor systems using CloudWatch and third-party tools; respond to incidents
• Support AWS networking (VPCs, NAT, Transit Gateway, VPN/DX)
• Assist with cost optimization, tagging, and governance standards
• Automate operational tasks using Python, Lambda, and Systems Manager

Ideal Candidate

• Strong hands-on AWS experience (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, ALB, CloudWatch)
• Experience with Terraform and Git-based workflows
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes / EKS
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
• Scripting experience in **Python or Bash**
• Understanding of monitoring, incident management, and cloud security basics

Nice to Have-

• Development/Technical support experience in preferably DevOps.

• Handelling Xmatters,Techlines,Incidents
• Strong Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash/Shell Scripting) for Implementing automation scripts and Tools to streamline administrative tasks and improve efficiency.
• An Atlassian Tools Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining Atlassian products such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo.
• Expertise in Bitbucket, GitHub for version control and collaboration global level.
• Good experience on Linux/Windows systems activities, Databases.
• Aware of SLA and Error concepts and their implementations; provide support and participate in Incident management & Jira Stories. Continuously Monitoring system performance and availability, and responding to incidents promptly to minimize downtime.
• Well-versed with Observability tool as Splunk for Monitoring, alerting and logging solutions to identify and address potential issues, especially in infrastructure.
• Expert with Troubleshooting production issues and bugs. Identifying and resolving issues in production environments.

• Role Overview

• Senior Engineer with a strong background and experience in cloud related technologies and architectures. Can design target cloud architectures to transform existing architectures together with the in-house team. Can actively hands-on configure and build cloud architectures and guide others.

• Key Knowledge

• 3-5+ years of experience in AWS/GCP or Azure technologies
• Is likely certified on one or more of the major cloud platforms
• Strong experience from hands-on work with technologies such as Terraform, K8S, Docker and orchestration of containers.
• Ability to guide and lead internal agile teams on cloud technology
• Background from the financial services industry or similar critical operational experience

Main tasks

• Supervision of the CI/CD process for the automated builds and deployments of web services and web applications as well as desktop tool in the cloud and container environment
• Responsibility of the operations part of a DevOps organization especially for development in the environment of container technology and orchestration, e.g. with Kubernetes
• Installation, operation and monitoring of web applications in cloud data centers for the purpose of development of the test as well as for the operation of an own productive cloud
• Implementation of installations of the solution especially in the container context
• Introduction, maintenance and improvement of installation solutions for development in the desktop and server environment as well as in the cloud and with on-premise Kubernetes
• Maintenance of the system installation documentation and implementation of trainings

Execution of internal software tests and support of involved teams and stakeholders

• Hands on Experience with Azure DevOps.

Qualification profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in communications engineering, electrical engineering, physics or comparable qualification
• Experience in software
• Installation and administration of Linux and Windows systems including network and firewalling aspects
• Experience with build and deployment automation with tools like Jenkins, Gradle, Argo, AnangoDB or similar as well as system scripting (Bash, Power-Shell, etc.)
• Interest in operation and monitoring of applications in virtualized and containerized environments in cloud and on-premise
• Server environments, especially application, web-and database servers
• Knowledge in VMware/K3D/Rancer is an advantage
• Good spoken and written knowledge of English
