Technical Manager

Srijan Technologies is hiring for the DevOps Lead position- Cloud Team with a permanent WFH option.

Immediate Joiners or candidates with 30 days notice period are preferred.

Requirements:-

• Minimum 4-6 Years experience in DevOps Release Engineering. 
• Expert-level knowledge of Git. 
• Must have great command over Kubernetes
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator
• Expert-level knowledge of Shell Scripting & Jenkins so as to maintain continuous integration/deployment infrastructure. 
• Expert level of knowledge in Docker. 
• Expert level of Knowledge in configuration management and provisioning toolchain; At least one of Ansible / Chef / Puppet. 
• Basic level of web development experience and setup: Apache, Nginx, MySQL 
• Basic level of familiarity with Agile/Scrum process and JIRA. 
• Expert level of Knowledge in AWS Cloud Services.

Role Summary

In this role, you will lead the DevOps function at the organisation and work through all

facets of software development: design, prototype, implementation, testing and

documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, implement, test and troubleshoot deployment strategies
• BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent. MS or higher degree
• preferred.
• Design continuous integration and delivery pipelines using latest tools and platformsv
• Demonstrated understanding and hands-on experience in Kubernetes, K8s-Ingress,
• Docker, AWS EC2, VPC, Route53, ELB, RDS, MongoDB, Helm, Rancher, Jenkins,
• VPN, GKE.
• Create high level deployment design (HLSD) documents and outline software solutions
• Strong DevOps Management experience with focus on server-side development and
• database design
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Strong understanding of web technologies, web services, communication protocols,
• (REST, SOAP API’s) and a proven track record in developing communication between
• desktop applications and web services
• Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies
• Cooperating with the back-end developer in the process of building the RESTful API

Qualification

• Experience with working on code enhancements within a large, complex software
• system
• Create server side deployment primarily in the Cloud, Collaboration space
• 10+ years of relevant experience in developing and managing web/app products.
• Experience with a few of these languages: Shell, Ruby/ JRuby, Python, PowerShell, Java,
• Go
• Hands-on experience in deploying and managing highly scalable cloud applications
• using AWS,Google Cloud
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
• Basic understanding of cloud security and hands on experience in building secure
• systems.
• Prepare accurate implementation task lists / time estimates and deliver assignments as
• per functional specifications, quality standards and project schedulesvvvv

Responsibilities

- Building and maintenance of resilient and scalable production infrastructure 

- Improvement of monitoring systems

- Creation and support of development automation processes (CI / CD)

- Participation in infrastructure development 

- Detection of problems in architecture and proposing of solutions for solving them 

- Creation of tasks for system improvements for system scalability, performance and monitoring

- Analysis of product requirements in the aspect of devops 

- Managing a team of DevOps, control of task deliveries 

- Incident analysis and fixing

- Understanding of the distributed systems principles

What will you do?  

• Setup, manage Applications with automation, DevOps, and CI/CD tools. 
• Deploy, Maintain and Monitor Infrastructure and Services. 
• Automate code and Infra Deployments. 
• Tune, optimize and keep systems up to date. 
• Design and implement deployment strategies. 
• Setup infrastructure in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, IBM cloud, Digital Ocean etc as per requirement. 

• Mandatory: Docker, AWS, Linux, Kubernete or ECS
• Prior experience provisioning and spinning up AWS Clusters / Kubernetes
• Production experience to build scalable systems (load balancers, memcached, master/slave architectures)
• Experience supporting a managed cloud services infrastructure
• Ability to maintain, monitor and optimise production database servers
• Prior work with Cloud Monitoring tools (Nagios, Cacti, CloudWatch etc.)
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos, NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, Cassandra, MongoDB, etc)
• Other Open Source tools used in the infrastructure space (Packer, Terraform, Vagrant, etc.)
• In-depth knowledge on Linux Environment.
• Prior experience leading technical teams through the design and implementation of systems infrastructure projects.
• Working knowledge of Configuration Management (Chef, Puppet or Ansible preferred) Continuous Integration Tools (Jenkins preferred)
• Experience in handling large production deployments and infrastructure.
• DevOps based infrastructure and application deployments experience.
• Working knowledge of the AWS network architecture including designing VPN solutions between regions and subnets
• Hands-on knowledge with the AWS AMI architecture including the development of machine templates and blueprints
• He/she should be able to validate that the environment meets all security and compliance controls.
• Good working knowledge of AWS services such as Messaging, Application Services, Migration Services, Cost Management Platform.
• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Understands and can serve as the technical team lead to oversee the build of the Cloud environment based on customer requirements.
• Previous NOC experience.
• Client Facing Experience with excellent Customer Communication and Documentation Skills
