Description:

We’re looking for a Head of Technical Recruiting with a strong understanding of software development to lead and scale our tech hiring. You will partner with engineering leadership to define hiring needs, build efficient interview processes, and deliver high-quality hires across backend, frontend, data, platform, and product engineering roles.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end technical hiring strategy

Partner with CTO/Engineering leaders on workforce planning

Manage and mentor technical recruiters

Design and improve technical interview processes

Drive senior and critical tech hires

Track and improve hiring metrics (time-to-hire, quality, funnel)

Requirements:

6+ years in recruiting, primarily technical hiring

3+ years leading recruiting teams

Strong understanding of software development and tech stacks

Experience hiring across engineering roles (BE/FE/FS/Data/DevOps, etc.)

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Roles & Responsibilities

• Data Engineering Excellence: Design and implement data pipelines using formats like JSON, Parquet, CSV, and ORC, utilizing batch and streaming ingestion.
• Cloud Data Migration Leadership: Lead cloud migration projects, developing scalable Spark pipelines.
• Medallion Architecture: Implement Bronze, Silver, and gold tables for scalable data systems.
• Spark Code Optimization: Optimize Spark code to ensure efficient cloud migration.
• Data Modeling: Develop and maintain data models with strong governance practices.
• Data Cataloging & Quality: Implement cataloging strategies with Unity Catalog to maintain high-quality data.
• Delta Live Table Leadership: Lead the design and implementation of Delta Live Tables (DLT) pipelines for secure, tamper-resistant data management.
• Customer Collaboration: Collaborate with clients to optimize cloud migrations and ensure best practices in design and governance.

Educational Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, with a proven track record in complex pipeline development and cloud-based data migration projects.
• Education: Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Skills
• Must-have: Proficiency in Spark, SQL, Python, and other relevant data processing technologies. Strong knowledge of Databricks and its components, including Delta Live Table (DLT) pipeline implementations. Expertise in on-premises to cloud Spark code optimization and Medallion Architecture.

Good to Have

• Familiarity with AWS services (experience with additional cloud platforms like GCP or Azure is a plus).

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Customize and develop Odoo modules as per business requirements.

- Integrate Odoo with third-party systems and APIs.

- Analyze, troubleshoot, and debug issues in existing modules.

- Create and maintain technical documentation.

- Migrate data and Odoo versions as needed.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (functional consultants, QA, UI/UX).

- Optimize performance and scalability of the Odoo platform.

Required Skills:

- Strong understanding of Python and Odoo framework.

- Proficiency in PostgreSQL, XML, JavaScript, QWeb and OWL.

- Experience with Odoo's core modules (Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, etc.).

- Familiarity with Odoo Studio and Odoo.sh is a plus.

• 5+ years experience in a highly technical role at a hyper-growth startup or fast-paced company.
• Extensive background designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving software.
• Good understanding of Node.js & Javascript.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business goals and initiatives into technical requirements.
• Strong understanding of SQL database.
• Demonstrable experience architecting scalable and cost effective solutions to ensure and support customer growth.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers in all aspects of planning, development and testing.
• Strong understanding of system design and architecture.
• Interest in engaging with latest technologies and evaluating strategies to keep the Novo technology stack up to date.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams effectively.

Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
• 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.

Additional Job requirements

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science/Math or equivalent
• BS in computer science or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant professional software development experience: designing, developing, and delivering software written in Java, C#, or C++, web development.
• Knowledgeable in object-oriented design patterns.
• Experience building highly scalable and distributed systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with service-oriented architecture and application/services development
• Passion for performance debugging and benchmarking
• Ability to clearly and concisely communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across all levels of the organization

Good knowledge and experience of working with backend systems; 

designing server-side architecture, including production maintenance experience are must-haves.

At least 1-2 years of experience in any programming languages like Java, Ruby, PHP, Python and Node.js(Node.js preferred).

Understanding of micro-services oriented architecture.

Experience with Databases design (SQL, NoSQL) and analytics

Experience in driving and delivering complex features/software modules from technical design to launch.

Expertise with unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD)
