Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Xamarin + Android Developer to build, maintain, and optimize cross-platform and native Android mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in C# and mobile app architecture, along with hands-on deployment experience on Play Store.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop cross-platform mobile applications using Xamarin / Xamarin.Forms
• Build and maintain native Android applications using Xamarin.Android
• Implement clean architecture patterns (MVVM)
• Integrate REST APIs and third-party services
• Work with local databases such as SQLite
• Optimize app performance and ensure responsiveness
• Handle Google Play Store deployment and updates
• Debug, test, and maintain app stability
• Collaborate with backend and UI/UX teams
• Support app migration or enhancement projects (if required)

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with:
• Xamarin.Forms
• Xamarin.Android
• Solid understanding of Android SDK concepts
• Experience with REST API integration
• Knowledge of SQLite / local storage
• Experience with Git version control
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Experience publishing apps to Google Play Store

Good to Have

• Experience with Firebase integration
• Azure exposure (optional)
• Performance optimization experience

REQUIREMENTS:

• 16+ years of experience in designing and developing technology solutions using a variety of platforms, languages, and tools, with at least 5+ years of software architecture experience
• Strong background into Devops, Azure, Java, .NET, all mobile, web and backend solutions
• Ability to think breakthroughs by leveraging new age technologies and a deep understanding of the client’s business and the industry they operate in 
• Ability to lead by example by picking up coding of complex functionalities when required

• Vast experience in owning delivery of complex technology solutions for global clients

• Visible thought leadership through technology blogs, whitepapers, presentations etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Owning the technology health of the project / account on all key metrics 
• Ensuring projects / accounts meet technical standards of governance, technology standards and best practices
• Owning the long term as well as the short-term technology strategy of your project / account
• Identifying opportunities in the current engagement to cross sell or up sell Nagarro’s offerings  
• Conceptualizing and owning the technical architecture and design of the projects you are influencing
• Harnessing your consulting skills in a culture that promotes opportunities to provide thought leadership and breakthrough solutions for our clients.
• Running workshops internally and with customers on technology and business topics to create new solution areas and use cases
• Communicating and driving adoption of organizational technology initiatives in your account
• Mentoring and managing team members, by giving constant on-the-job feedback, and by providing guidance
• If you are aligned with a Center of Excellence (CoE) or practice –
• Defining the vision for the practice/CoE, creating plan/budget for the practice

Roles and responsibilities:

• Should be the single point of contact for all project related queries and concerns.
• Should ensure project delivery and quality at desired level.
• Adherence to the Process.
• Oversee daily activities of the team and provide direction and guidance as needed.
• Manage resources as per workload.
• Address delivery issues in a timely fashion.
• Ensure operational excellence by making team technically competent enough.
• Evaluate the performance of team members and determine training needs.

Desired candidate profile:

• Overall experience of 15 Yrs. to 20 Yrs.
• 5+ yrs. of experience on project management and project delivery.
• Should have proven experience on coding and managing teams using Java, J2ee, iOS, Android, AWS, Node JS, and Python.
• Adoption to the new technologies is desired.
• Understanding of firmware and protocols related to IOT, Bluetooth will be added advantage
• Required to be technical and hands on coding if needed.
• Candidates should be Process oriented and execute projects in Scrum/Agile methodologies.
