Job Description

Position Summary:

We are looking for a Mobile application developer responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed towards iOS, including mobile phones and tablets. Your primary focus will be the development of such applications and their integration with other services. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential. You will be responsible for the product development with quality and by following the engineering practices. The candidate should be a team player who should be able to code, do the peer code review, defect fixes wherever needed on the existing product.

Responsibilities:

 Design and build applications for iOS

 Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

 Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features

 Innovative thinking for problems solutions. Solid implementation

 Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs

 Achieving Code, module delivery dates within time

 Help maintain code quality, organization, automatization, and documentation

 Uses Agile Scrum Methodology for software development

 Develops unit tests for all new code

 Has all code changes peer reviewed and must peer review code when required

 Provides input for documentation of new or existing programs

 Well versed with usage of debugging tools to analyze and solve complex problems independently

 Diagnose and resolve complex level issues of application

 Participate in interactions with all levels of personnel with different teams Skills:

 Proficient in all versions of Swift, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems

 Solid understanding of object-oriented programming

 Experience in App Store distribution process and Enterprise distribution of Apple

 Good knowledge of performance limits and characteristics

 Knowledge of memory management and multi-threading, background thread handling and iOS file systems

 Knowledge of private framework in swift and objective C languages

 Experience with embedded databases and other system datastores

 Experience of automated testing platforms and unit tests for Mobile applications

 Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect to back-end services

 Good sense of UI design and a user-oriented focus  Knack for benchmarking and optimization  Proficient understanding of code versioning tools e.g. Git

 Hands on experience in using Jenkins

 Familiarity with continuous integration

 Good Knowledge in design patterns

 Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills in English

 Good time management skills

 Certification of iOS development, swift language will be value added  Experience with Cocoa APIs on iOS and Apple frameworks AR, ML and swift UI is good to have

 2-4 years of work experience in Mobile application development.

Roles, Responsibilities and Experience:

• Cross-platform mobile app developer who has developed mobile applications and has strong experience with Ionic and Angular 7+.
• Experienced in the development and management of mobile applications, particularly hybrids (Android / iOS)
• Comprehensive experience in mobile application architecture planning
• Well qualified in mobile application design and optimization. The ideal candidate will be able to provide solutions to improve mobile app quality, understand emerging technologies, implement standards and best practices thereby able to enhance the existing stage of development and bring the mobile application, from a product standpoint, 'to the next level'
• Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies as well as frameworks so as to maximize ongoing development efficiencies
• Accurately estimate development timelines and deliver per set schedule
• Solid knowledge of mobile app development practices, along with mobile testing tools and techniques
• Expertise in optimizing the mobile apps' performance
• Experienced in using Agile principles and methodologies
• A deep understanding of the mobile landscape and user behavior patterns is mandatory

Required Skills:

• Experience using web services (HTTP, REST, SOAP) using JSON.
• Knowledge of NodeJS and MongoDB will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of object-oriented design patterns and Multi-threading concepts
• Good knowledge of the SQLite database and the Google Play Services like Push Notifications
• Strong mobile UI design (multi-screen resolutions), coding, support and maintenance
• Knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, and the third-party API (like Facebook, Twitter, etc.) will be added advantage
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Proficient iOS and Android mobile app experience are a plus

What You Need for this Position:

B.tech/BE/MS/MCA/BCA Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
3+ years of experience using Swift to develop and deliver production applications for iOS
Strong understanding of the fundamentals of native development patterns
Experience with ios app testing and security, including writing unit tests, test automation, and working closely with quality assurance teams
Experience with dependency management tools such as Cocoapods, SPM, and Carthage
Debugging experience with stack traces, spin traces, performance & concurrency/threading issues
Successful launch of consumer-grade applications to the Apple App Store
Experience with Git VCS and best practices for source code management
Proven experience with crafting and integrating client-side REST APIs
Familiarity with CI/CD Pipelines (Jenkins, FastLane and others)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Description Responsibilities:
