Job Summary

Jio Reality Labs is looking for a skilled Android Engineer to build high-performance, scalable mobile

applications for AI-driven, real-time, and immersive platforms used by millions of users. This role

focuses on creating intuitive, responsive, and visually rich Android experiences for AI/ML

dashboards, real-time analytics, and AR/VR-enabled applications.

Responsibilities

1. Mobile Application Development

 Build and maintain scalable, high-performance Android applications using modern

development frameworks and tools.

 Develop intuitive user interfaces for AI/ML workflows, real-time analytics dashboards, and

enterprise tools.

 Translate product requirements and UX designs into clean, maintainable, and reusable code.

2. Real-Time & Data-Driven Interfaces

 Implement real-time UI updates for streaming data, live metrics, and system monitoring

dashboards.

 Work with APIs and WebSockets to render low-latency, data-intensive views.

 Ensure smooth user experience under high-traffic and high-data-volume scenarios.

3. UI/UX & Performance Optimization

 Optimize mobile application performance for speed, responsiveness, and scalability.

 Ensure compatibility across Android devices, screen sizes, and OS versions.

 Collaborate closely with designers to deliver polished, immersive user experiences.

4. Platform & Architecture

 Design mobile architecture that supports modularity, scalability, and long-term

maintainability.

 Implement state management, reusable components, and modular libraries to support

complex applications.

 Contribute to mobile development standards, best practices, and reusable design systems.

5. Collaboration & Delivery

 Work closely with backend, AI/ML, data engineering, and platform teams to integrate APIs

and workflows.

 Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical design discussions.

 Support CI/CD pipelines and production deployments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

 Strong experience in Android development using Kotlin or Java.

 Hands-on experience with Android SDK, Jetpack components, and modern Android

architecture patterns (MVVM/MVI).

 Solid understanding of mobile UI principles, layouts, and responsive design.

 Experience consuming REST APIs and working with real-time data (WebSockets, streaming).

 Familiarity with performance optimization techniques and debugging tools.

Preferred Skills

 Experience building dashboards or data-intensive mobile applications.

 Familiarity with data visualization libraries or charting frameworks.

 Exposure to AR/VR, 3D, or graphics-intensive interfaces (ARCore, OpenGL, Unity

integrations).

 Experience with design systems, component libraries, and accessibility standards.

 Understanding of cloud-based deployments and CI/CD workflows.

We are looking for an experienced mobile developer to join Triveous and help us in our journey to create world-class mobile products. She/He will be responsible for executing the entire mobile app development lifecycle. That includes understanding product requirements, writing requirement-related documentation, and writing high-quality code and tests.

You need to have a solid track record of building real-world mobile products that have been launched on the play/app store.

Since this is a remote role, you would need to be self-motivated and proactive in all the work that you do.

Main Responsibilities And Key Activities

• Build great native and cross-platform applications using industry best practices
• Analyze, debug and solve complex technical issues
• Write understandable, testable code with an eye towards maintainability.
• Break down high-level technical requirements into specific implementation stories
• Show ownership on project features

Qualifications And Professional Knowledge

• Should have at least 2 years of work experience in native Cross-platform frameworks like Flutter/React Native and Android
• Should have published one or more apps on the play/app store
• Must have strong expertise in programming languages like Kotlin or Dart
• Very strong in computer fundamentals, data structures, and database design.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Location: Remote(Preferably located in India)

College: IIT, NIT, BITs other Tier 1 colleges  

   Priority skills:  Kotlin, MVP, MVVM, especially Viper, Unit & UI Test, Firebase, Google maps, design patterns, GIT

Responsibilities ( Experience 8-10 years)

    Design and development of apps for Android in Kotlin and JAVA
    Follow Google user interface guidelines and principles of material design
    Ensure performance and maintainability of the apps
    Code review and guidance to other team members to make sure code quality is as desired.
    Researching new frameworks and adapting the best of them in app development.

Skills Required

    Expert knowledge of Kotlin and JAVA
    Expert knowledge of Architectural patterns like MVC, MVVM and Clean Architecture.
    Expert understanding of Android run time model
    Experience with offline caching, threading and task management.
    Experience with object oriented design patterns.
    Experience with push notifications and Firebase or other similar PaaS systems.
    An Eye for design details, following pixel perfect designs.
    Experience with 3rd party libraries like okhttp, volley , Soket.io, Realm, Firebase, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, RX Kotlin/JAVA.
    Team management skills.

• Writing clean and efficient code for Android applications.
• Atleast published 1-2 apps on play store.
• Identifying and resolving bottlenecks, rectifying bugs and enhancing application performance.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and design new features.
• Staying up to date with new mobile technology trends, applications, and protocols.

• You have prior exposure to Kotlin, Android SDK.
• Understanding of design patterns and mobile architecture using frameworks such as MVVM / MVC / MVP.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to effectively integrate Android applications.
• Understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
• You are a problem solver with good analytical skills.
• Prior experience in accessibility applications or voice-based applications will be a plus not a necessity
• Passion to work in dynamic, start-up environment

• As an independent, self-motivated, and an avid technologist, you should have a strong interest in mobile and intuition for UX and consumer behaviour
• Up to date knowledge of Android (Jetpack and RxPatterns)
• Experienced in publishing and maintaining apps in play store
• Excellent Java programming skills
• Experienced in writing testable code & unit tests
• Experience with the Kotlin programming language a plus
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes, accelerometers, GPS
• Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines (JETPack, Rx patterns)
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
