Job Title: Application Support Engineer/ System Support Engineer

Experience: 1 – 3 Years

Location: Hyderabad

Shift: 5 PM – 3 AM (Late Evening Shift)

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Application Support Engineer with 1–3 years of experience in Linux/Windows environments, application servers, and monitoring tools. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and availability of applications, along with providing L2/L3 support in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide application support and incident management for production systems.
• Monitor system performance using hardware/software monitoring and trending tools.
• Troubleshoot issues in Linux and Windows environments.
• Manage and support Apache and Tomcat servers.
• Analyze logs and debug application/system issues.
• Work on SQL/Oracle databases for query execution, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Handle deployments and support CI/CD pipelines using tools like Docker and Jenkins.
• Ensure SLA adherence and timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
• Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and database teams for issue resolution.
• Maintain documentation for incidents, processes, and knowledge base articles.
• Support SaaS applications hosted in data center environments.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows OS administration
• Experience with Apache and Tomcat servers
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and alerting tools
• Good understanding of log analysis and troubleshooting techniques
• Working knowledge of SQL and Oracle databases
• Familiarity with Docker and Jenkins (CI/CD pipelines)
• Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
• Knowledge of SaaS applications and data center operations

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automation/scripting (Shell, Python, etc.)
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus
• Basic networking knowledge

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Candidate will be responsible for test execution of LTE protocol and performance, analyze and report software defects, interwork with development teams in identifying a potential fix and retest fixes. 
• Should be having good analysis skills with a sound understanding of LTE Concepts. 
• Responsibilities include test execution- with failure root cause analysis System acquisition, LTE Protocol testing. 
• The candidate will also support troubleshooting and reproducing customer failures for debugging. 
• Must have good call processing knowledge as per 3GPP specifications for GSM/GPRS/EDGE/WCDMA/LTE capable phones. 
• Candidate must be reliable regular with good work ethics. 

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: 

• LTE with 5G/4G Experience 

1. Understanding of LTE/5G/4G end-to-end flows 
2. Working experience on UEs and/or RAN side. 
3. Good understanding of RRC, RRM MAC & NAS protocols on the Air interface 

• Tools and Analytical Skills 

1. Log Analysis Experience 
2. Working experience with end-to-end setups 
3. Scripting experience on Keysight/Anite/Anritsu/R&S tools. 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 

• B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics and Communication 
• 3 to 8 years plus experience in the 4G/5G domain 
• Excellent communication and strong Analytical skills required 

• Experience in understanding and Debugging of java web-based technologies (Java, Java Spring, JSP, Servlet, JavaScript, CSS, XML, JSON). 
• Experience with API Background like Linux, Windows, Jason 
• Good knowledge of Oracle PLSQL and Shell scripting. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Demonstrated ability to install, configure, maintain, upgrade, troubleshoot, repair, and support Adobe Experience Manager (AEM/CQ5). 
• Comfortable with basic scripting and programming (Java, C , Python, Powershell, Bash, etc). managing known hosts and troubleshooting connection issues Support of AEM/CQ5 infrastructure with load-balanced, replicated and fail-over capabilities. 
• Installation / configuration / maintenance of Apache webserver and Dispatcher module configs. 
• Ability to monitor Adobe Experience Manager/CQ5 infrastructure and provide both proactive and reactive support, problem management and root cause analysis. 
• Support application deployment into the Adobe Experience Manager environments, configuring application needs, deploying code/content, troubleshooting and performance tuning. 
• Experience in troubleshooting production environment issues and working closely with Development teams Able to work on Linux/unix environments
